Nice view of the surrounding mountain and nearby to pretty much every shop in town within walking distance, highly recommended~~~

Great location and setting

Lovely grand hotel, just very dated. No lifts, no aircon, room was very hot!! The pool was nice but still dated. We ordered a non alcoholic Mojito and couldn’t drink it as it was just soda water with ice and a piece of mint. Overall it was nice the grounds were lovely, but just not what I was expecting when looking at pictures of rooms on Expedia.

The hotel is fantastic, set in gorgeous grounds. The staff are so friendly and helpful and everything is spotless! The bar and restaurant are wonderful and we had a fantastic dinner.

The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous, with huge trees. The location is amazing as you can walk to the hot springs, shops and eateries. The rooms are OK for the price, which is good value in comparison. However, as it's an old building the floorboards creak loudly in the hallway and the room and there is no air con. At first, we were placed in a room overlooking the car park and liquor store, but the staff member at the desk was obliging and managed to change us to the other side, even though it was a busy time of year.

Despite the hotel being old fashion, we enjoy staying there.

The rooms are well appointed . We did not eat there . If you struggle with stairs there is NO LIFT . The least the hotel could do is put a note at their reception to ask for help with luggage . I’m not sure how many rooms are on the ground floor. Surely a lift could be installed in this spacious hotel .

Small and tidy hotel room with two queen beds. Perfect for two children family and at a reasonable price.

Such a central location to everything in the village. Lovely room and enjoyed the outdoor area for evening drinks. Bed was super comfy!

Door lock not attatched properly and due to this was difficult to work. Windows rattled in the wind all night. Im not u fussy person but for the price i think deff one of the most overpriced for what you get in the Hanmer area. And i do stay in Hanmer at least 3 times a month for work so i have seen most motels and some holiday homes. Room was clean and tidy tho.

Beautiful property and you can't beat the location.

Was a beautiful stay at edit in hammer spring would definitely recommend and will be back
