Safe neighborhood

It was fine for what we needed but the hotel is showing its age. Parking is a nightmare and limited.

The receptionist was very welcoming.

Lovely spot. Nice pool.

Strong smell.

Clean. But , very cheap. Had to argee to get like 2 bottle of water for the bedroom. Coffe machin in rhe lobby was broken. The on the room barley worked

We waited in the lobby from 4.00 (we were there at 3.00) to 5.15 pm to have our room supposedly because of staff shortage

We arrived at 3:30 and the room was not ready. I understand that check in is at 4:00. We left the property and came back at 5:30. When we arrived we were given an extremely small room, there was a very unpleasant odour, stains on the carpet in numerous places in the room and windows were filthy. The room was so small I doubt there was two feet between the bed and dresser. We were extremely disappointed considering we paid $333.28 for the night. Definitely not the room we selected online and paid for. They could not change us rooms as the hotel was full. We then wanted to change hotels and they would not honour the change as per their cancellation policy. As it was a long weekend I know prices are inflated but this was beyond belief price gouging for the room we received. Never again!

Hotel was in a great spot just across the bridge from Ottawa. It was nice to be able to spend the day in the hustle and bustle of the city but then come back to peace and quiet.

The poor parking caused us issues at night trying to find somewhere to park. We ended up being told to park as close to the building as we could. We had to be swapped to another room due to poor air conditioning. The second room had similar issues. Could not get the temperature to drop lower then 20.5. Definitely an issue for us.

Ended up coming here after a nightmare experience at a different hotel. One of the elevators went out of service (creating a jam packed ride with four guests, a staff member and his giant laundry cart) and the pool filtration system was definitely not functioning optimally but the stay was still pleasant. Front desk staff were all very friendly and kind to deal with and the room itself was clean and cozy!

Rooms were not all ready when we arrived, and waited until 5pm got all rooms, but one of the rooms was not cleaned, we had to change again. Overall it was ok

Hello, our stay was awful. I've never had such a terrible experience. The group of teenagers were running around all over the hotel till 11:40pm. We called to reception and asked to stop this mess as we couldn't sleep. The reception person didn't help. They even didn't come to our floor. Next time we went downstairs to complain to reception in person. But again they didn't help us, nobody came to our floor or to our room to solve this situation. Finally, we contacted the group guardian of these kids with a warning to call the police.

Stayed 4 nights and They said they’d call when Restaurant was closed for renovations. Only 1 elevator worked, ran out of coffee for 2 days there. Chrome or Netflix didn’t work with wifii. Parking limited. They said they would call when room was available and they didn’t. They never answered phone when tried calling down for a wake up.

Beautiful view of river was nice, but windows very dirty and smudged with fingerprints/nose prints. Found used kcup from previous guest in the machine in my room when I went to make a coffee. Pool itself is nice, but pool area is in need of repair/paint. It is also ridiculous to get to from higher floors. Pool Ladder/railing for pool steps are coming out of ground (serious safety hazard), there was no safety equipment in case of drowning. Several times went down to swim; no towels. There was a dance competition so loads of kids in pool (25 kids & 15 adults who were drinking), was incredibly loud, nowhere to sit or put our things as floor was soaking with puddles of water. Rooms not soundproofed, heard every cough, sneeze and footstep. Spent 2 nights listening to a little kid running up and down halls while I tried to sleep. I'd say this is more like a motel, than a hotel. Staff was friendly. Close to museums, galleries.

Good beds and good view from the balcony. It's our second stay. Will be back if the condition maintains.
