We had an amazing stay!!!

Really poor food and didn’t have what you wanted wouldn’t stay here again

Beautiful property, lack of staff, terrible entertainment, limited restaurants open fir dinner, food cold,, nicest restaurant French could not be enjoyed as the room beside had wedding so loud you couldn’t have dinner conversation. Septic fail with good! Amazing spa. Loved awaited named Joel so Cari g and kind.

Excellent stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained and service was excellent. It was a wonderful trip and we will definitely add it to our list of places we want to revisit.

Excelente atenciones

Very nice resort.

The hotel was under construction to which two of the dining and pool bar area were closed. There was limited food ideas and what was available was cold most times. The room had a leaks in the shower, over toilet and bed where the AC was. The room had a lot of mosquitoes which my husband was biting more than I. There was limited entertainment and where there was the staff was only picking guess to participate. Although my husband is not active I am very active and enjoy beach and pool activities. I don't drink alcohol so drinking is not my idea of a good time. The bar waiter staff were nice and would come around to server beverages. There is a lot I can say that was poor but I believe I said enough. I would not recommend the resort as it doesn't deliver on what is advertised.

Pros: Grounds are pretty and the concept has potential. Cons: • Entertainment: Main pool had almost no vibe—only bingo. For a resort of this size, daytime programming felt flat and repetitive. • Pool experience: No swim-up bar; drink service at loungers was slow, often long waits. • Excellence Club value: Paid extra for top-shelf liquor, but it was only available 3–11 pm. That restriction wasn’t clear and undermines the upgrade. • Food: Lacked flavor across venues; meals were surprisingly unpleasant for a 5-star-priced property. • Service: Staff weren’t accommodating. A basic request to heat food we brought back from an excursion was met with a hard “no,” with no alternative offered. Bottom line: We travel a minimum of three times a year and were excited to try this resort, but it fell short on nearly every front. Not worth the time or the upcharge until they improve pool programming, add a swim-up bar or speed up service, honor top-shelf access all day for Club guests, and raise food quality.

The property is meticulously maintained and cleaned, staff is very polite and helpful, spa services are “top notch”…

Great stay amazing staff truly enjoyed my stay

We love excellence in punta cana. However, because the hotel was being renovated the buffet was only open for breakfast and the dining options were sub par. Many of the dining places left you feeling less than satisfied. The only restaurant i enjoyed was Spice and becausee you had to reserve i was only able to eat there once at 9:45! Besides that hotel was clean, setvice was great - staff is very attentive. Room was immaculate. Bed was comfortable pillows not so much. Pool was clean. Beach was wonderful.

All members were awesome, since You get out from Your transportation to front desk, all from restaurants, cleaning people, we have a really good time, we like the positive attitude from all people always smiling and very friendly We high recommend Excellence, we’ve been at Excellence in Playa Mujeres, Mexico and we have amazing experience as well

The rooms were clean and the beach was clean daily and the drinks were very good and the food and the staff were excellent. I will highly recommend this location again five star treatment for my honeymoon and vacation thy did not disappoint. I will be back.
