Very clean room and friendly staff

Even though this might be the only hotel in town, it is an EXCELLENT choice. I’ve stayed here for pleasure and then ended up staying here for work multiple times. From the front desk greeting to the breakfast to the wonderful clean rooms, this is a great hotel! The ONLY complaint (not worthy of even deducting a star) I have is a lack of bacon every morning at breakfast. Some days have bacon but as we all know, bacon is needed every day :-).

Super nice hotel

The night-time front desk person was awesome and had a great personality. Another staff member who helped with our TV was very nice. The morning / breakfast staff were gruff. Pool access was overly difficult (time restrictions + needing to find a staff member to access). Not able to turn on jets in tiny hot tub. Pool water slightly murky. Breakfast was sparse and uninspired.

It was great with a restraint right across the parking lot.

This is my second stay at the Clatskanie River Inn. I happened by this place on a vacation last summer and when I ended up on a business trip to this same small town, I knew where to stay! The place is simple, the people are friendly, things are spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is pretty nice. The ONLY downside I have is that with staying there a week, there wasn't bacon every day for breakfast ;-). I appreciated the egg casseroles that were served every day, but I would really have liked having an option to not have to have hash browns or anything mixed in my eggs as well as having a meat choice to go with it. I'm a heavy protein eater for breakfast and it was hard to keep the carbs out of my meal. But that was really minor within the grand scheme of things in a great hotel!

Location and amenities were ok, and our dog was welcome, price point was fair, but overall experience was just average

Delicious breakfast!

My wife and I stay here a few times per year. The staff are friendly, the rooms are good sized and clean, it's quiet, there's a great park right next door, and all the restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. We will continue to come back here.

Loved that we had parks around hotel to run our dog. The Mexican restaurant in the parking lot was fabulous. Great family run hotel
