Swimming pool, sauna and steam room wee great. Room nice though air con very noisy and the sparkling water bottle in the fridge and been refilled with tap water. Food was great.

All of the staff went above and beyond. The customer service was exceptional. The room was lovely and big and the beds very comfy. Was a little disappointed with the spa which is a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. Don’t book a treatment but the treatment rooms looked nice and relaxing

Superb staff, little hiccup first night but swiftly resolved. Bit shout out to the bar tenders in the Shakespeare Bar.

Lovely setting, charming staff. My only quibble was that it was a bit inflexible about serving food - for instance nothing was available between 9.30 and lunchtime.

Just very underwhelming for a 4 star. Gym was poor, no smart tv in room. Just nothing you’d consider an extra touch

Great location. Stayed there to attend a wedding. Also used the hotel as a base for visiting Bletchley Park and Warner Studio tour.

When we 1st stayed here it was lovely. 2nd time round it was a bit unimpressive. Staff was less accomodating, room wasnt as nice. Jjst a bit lack luster. Breakfast is lovely though

really nice grounds and a great welcome by staff. Room was nice however the window sills had a lot of dead bugs. Staff were generally great apart from 2, one of the barmen got annoyed with serving multiple drinks and a lady that greeted and served us for breakfast was plain rude.

Poor, card didn't work on door, staff couldn't solve issue. Food not nice. Wouldn't stay again.

I had an excellent stay at [Pendley Manor]. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. My room was spotlessly clean, well-designed, and very comfortable. The facilities, including [restaurant, gym, pool, spa, etc.], were exceptional, and the service exceeded my expectations throughout my stay. The location was convenient, and I truly appreciated the small touches that made my visit memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting [Tring/ Pendley Manor], and I look forward to staying here again.

Breakfast (£22/person) was excellent. Dinner menu was ok. We chose to eat out for two of the three nights we were there Rooms clean and comfortable We were seriously inconvenienced by a wedding at the venue one evening to the point that we couldn’t even get into the property. We had to wait in our car for 40 minutes just to access the property

Lovely location

Check in was fine, rooms are spacious but lack some finishing (wires hang down from television, forgotten robes) building has lots of character but a lot of the furniture is tired/stained/worn. We got there at 1pm and the lawn area with outdoor furnitures had obviously not been cleaned after an event the night before, bottles and dirty glasses, cushions missing or mix matched, glass tops missing from tables, so it was hard to find a suitable table to sit at. The area behind the bar was filthy, milk left out, oat milk left out, milk all over the espresso machine, wrappers and rubbish on the counter dirty dishes everywhere. This then attracted flies and, more concerning, wasps. Staff in the bar were lovely, but obviously very short handed even though there were lots of other staff walking around. We definitely got the impression that the event/events were being prioritized over residential guests. We would probably come back again if we saw it at a deal as the family rooms were very convenient for young children, but it definitely did not feel luxury/4 star.
