This property was great

Lovely place, friendly staff, very clean

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life but I have never stayed in one that has a precarious step in the washroom/toilet. Why would you design a room with such a blatant hazard in it?

Staff great but lumpy bed and smelly bathroom

The hotel was fine, the location was just a bit bland, being an out of town business park.

Had booked for a two night stay in hotel. On arrival thay said i only been booked in for one night. But offerd to charge my reservation. Room was clean but we found the bed ie mattress so hard & uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a hard floor. In fact i didn't sleep, i ended up sleeping in the chair. In the morning their was no record of us booking for breakfast. But after thay had heard of my discomfort with bed arrangement.. Thay very kindly let us have some breakfast. No charge. The flooring from the bar towards the breakfast area was very loose & cracked under foot. Not very good for a 4 star hotel. Although thay had been accommodating to a degree. I felt my stort stay very stressful and on edge about my booking.

Nice hotel but the bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable.

Hotel overall is clean and nice. However the rooms are old and tired, carpets thread-warn and in general need of an update. Unfortunately this is a negative

Moved room twice and was made to pack my own things up in darkness . I addressed this with the hotel manager the next morning just to be told she would have more training with the staff. Absolute joke. Never again.

Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away! Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as it was along corridor to room (3rd floor). Room was also quite dark but think that was a “theme” Went to restaurant for dinner and staff were excellent and food was really good but was overpriced for what it was. See photo (£26) Warning, again dark theme and menu was extremely difficult to read, even waiting staff struggled!

I was told the kitchen was closed at 2105 when it states its open till 2130. Only options was a cold dry sandwich. Not really acceptable when arriving later to check in

Property was fairly convenient and staff were very friendly, room carpet was worn and temperature was a little cold but overall it was a good experience.

£15 extra for breakfast and on arrival was told continental only. - I asked for breakfast to be refunded when I checked in as £15 for continental was not acceptable and they refused . Photos of the breakfast below -Absolute rip off

The room was FREEZING, even with the aircon on heat and 28 degrees (its max) it wasn’t sending out any heat. No radiators! Additionally, there were 2 plug sockets in the whole room - with 2 mobiles, watches, laptop etc there isn’t anyway of charging/using all. The check in staff wasn’t that helpful and on checkout I wasn’t even asked how my stay was. Restaurant was nice, food beautiful and the service in the bar was great

The room was a bit tired and needs an update.Worn carpets & cracked tiles etc. Only one double socket in whole room by the desk/table. Nothing by the bed. We found the mattress a bit hard. Room clean. Only one lift working. No dining at the hotel. Hotel in office/ small business park. Several Tesla chargers on-site which were well used. Close to M1 J27.

Stay here was just ok . Gym was small and had a fusty smell. Breakfast was advertised until 10am. I arrived at 9.30 am to find very little food left on the buffet. I had to ask for bread to make toast. The juices were empty.
