The staff was very nice and the views spectacular. The rooms could use a little update and you could hear everything next door. Overall was a good experience.

This was a very nice hotel, we stayed for 4 nights in Amalfi. It's charming and older architecture/features - but that is how all hotels are in the area, you wont be getting a modern hotel. Very clean and good service. Hotel staff was very nice. The pool is nice and offers a great views, but water very cold likely bc of the shade, and no one spends time at the pool, I'm assuming because you are out exploring when in Amalfi. The hotel shuttle was very good feature and used multiple times a day, they have an app to schedule very easily. It takes about 10 minutes to get down to the city center where a lot of the action is.

We were on the renovated floor which was beautiful! The staff was excellent as was the food. We loved the private beach and beach service.

The hotel had an amazing view . The pool closed earlier than what was advertised which was disappointing . The breakfast was amazing , the bar staff was exceptional . The room was spacious . The shuttle was easy to book and needed to get to town .

Good view

Very scenic on top of the hill. They provide transportation to the city center. If you’re looking for a more quiet and higher view of Amalfi I suggest this property.

Amazing staff

The transportation and shuttle option is awesome for this hotel however it is not the cleanest. They also control the AC although you have the thermostat in the room the temperature won’t drop to what you put it to. When you leave the room you have to take the card out and the electricity shuts off ( AC shuts off ) so you come back to a pretty hot room.

The hotel was in disrepair. Broken door handles, bad air conditioning. Staff did their best with what they have to work with. They are the best part of the hotel.

Der Blick von der Terrasse der Unterkunft ist einmalig. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch ok. Das Frühstück war gut, aber ohne Raffinesse. Es wäre gut, frischgepressten Orangensaft, Mozarella und Tomaten sowie Anchovis oder einen anderen Fisch/Schrimps anzubieten. Eine Omlettestation wäre auch wünschenswert. Wir genossen den Transfer in die Stadt, den man im voraus buchen musste. Wenn auch die gewünschten Slots nicht immer verfügbar waren, waren die Alternativslots immer akzeptabel. Auch wenn wir ein Mietauto hätten, wären wir mit den steilen schmalen Straßen überfordert, so ist der Transfer sehr wertvoll. Wir haben ein Paar gute nette Restaurants entdeckt, die hinterm Hotel bergauf in 11 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar waren. Der Kiesstrand war auch schön, mit einer kleinen Bar, kostenlosen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Zum Strand musste man auch ein Transfer buchen, und ca 5-7 min mit dem Minibus fahren. Der Zugang zum Strand erfolgte dann mit einem Lift. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns willkommen gefüllt.

GHE blew our expectations away, this hotel is breathtaking as soon as you step foot through the front doors. You can see it right from amalfi port & center. It is right up in the mountains making the views gorgina and far enough away that it’s quiet and relaxing away from the hustle & bustle of amalfi center. Has a free shuttle from morning til 10:45pm that is a lifesaver. Also has access to a free private beach that is 10x better than any free public one, beach also has an on-site bar and food menu that’s charged to your room making it even more convenient. The pool is something like i’ve never seen before with views of the amalfi coast/ocean. Hotel restaurant food & drinks are so good that you will not be missing out if you dine In as opposed to visiting an amalfi center restaurant. Their lemon cake is to die for!! Will be coming back!!!

This is a beautiful hotel. The views from the room and the hotel, in general, are stunning. Everyone from the front desk people, to the wait staff, the housekeepers, and the shuttle drivers were all extremely, nice, helpful, and professional. The hotel pool, and the views from the pool, are also amazing.
