We had a really excellent stay at Golden Sands. The staff always went out of their way to be friendly and make a fuss of our daughter. The location can be difficult to access other areas of the island. There is a bus stop right by the hotel but it isn't quick to get to the majority of the tourist destinations, often needing 2 buses. However the stunning location of the hotel right on the cliffs overlooking the sea really makes up for it. It's so easy to access the private beach by lift so no need for walking loads of steps. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and eating breakfast overlooking the stunning view was my favourite thing. I didn't realise when booking that the kids club and family activities were all included in the price so that was a bonus. Some slight negatives: restaurants are quite pricey as there isn't much else around so they can charge what they like. We came on April so maybe classed as off peak but things like evening music advertised on the app never materialised it was just sports on the tv in the bar which was a shame. Also, my main concern was the balconies. They have horizontal bars so I was nervous my daughter would try and climb them so we never used them. The balconies looked a little rusty and in need of some love but the rest of the room and hotel all looks lovely. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would stay again as long as I wasn't planning on exploring the island every day as it takes too much of the day to get to other locations.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea which was crystal clear and stunning. Lovely outdoor pool and indoor spa. Attentive staff. Great choice of restaurants; Italian, Bistro style, buffet (we had a couple of dinners and daily breakfast) and Indian (didn’t try this due to nut allergies). Watersports on the beach (would recommend the cruise to Gozo and Blue Lagoon). Convenient for Mdina (stunning) and Valetta (amazing). Only downside is the lack of walkable restaurants or village to go to in the evening.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson, we’ve come back refreshed and bright ! So much to do, and definitely will be back again !!

Nice hotel with amazing view of Golden Bay. Far away from everything…

Very large nice hotel next to a large beach (by Malta standards). It is on the quiet north west coast and is not within walking distance of a village/town; you need a car if staying at this hotel otherwise you will spend all of your time at the hotel.

As we visited in winter, we did not have access to the outside pool or bar because they were understandably under maintenance but we did have access to the private beach as well as all the indoor facilities- all of which were excellent. Very accessible and the staff are wonderful and make you feel at ease. Always there to help. Provides many sea activities even in the off peak season and at a good price too. Has hiking trails which was an unusual surprise. Food and beverages are great. All in all the best there is.

The check-in staff was appalling, never had a bizarre experience like it before. Bed was nice but pillows useless. Very slippery bath when having a shower and no body cream for quests. Breakfast was very delicious with lots of options. And the view from the room was amazing, over to the sea and the beach and the sunset. A nice hotel and I would return just for the view.

Best resort ever! Also great food and updated accommodations. So luxurious we could live there! Lots of toddlers at the pool and in the hot tub though.

Fantastic stay, the staff were wonderful and helpful, the breakfast buffet was great! Comfortable room, plenty of space. It was also carpeted which was great for our little one who started crawling while we were staying. Located next to a gorgeous beach. 10/10 would recommend and stay again

Radisson blu Resort is excellent hotel. Wonderful layout on the cliff with beautiful views on the golden sand beach and blue waters bay . We will definitely come back over there soon.
