Staff is amazing, food is more than tasty. Breakfast is must have, many local options of nuts and fruits to try on. I had an amazing time and hope one day I can come back.

This hotel is pricey, indeed. But worthy. Service is great, optional tours are amazing. Even the free tours are very nice. Restaurant is not cheap, but food is unique and perfect. Breakfast is gorgeous. And last, the fact that you can enjoy the falls before and after park opening hours is priceless. We could enjoy night view and early morning view by ourselves! The full walkway was ours! If I have the chance to go back to Iguaçu, I will use this hotel again.

What a gem! This historic hotel complex is exceedingly well kept. This was the splurge at the end of our 3-week trip in South American...quite beautiful and luxurious! The staff was top notch. Perfect location for seeing Iguazu Falls National Park from the Brazil side. Wonderful view from the hotel tower. Walk across the street for a spectacular view and Park trail to stunning Devil's Throat area.

Excellent and beautiful property

Without any doubts : the BEST hotel I’ve experienced anywhere in the world . Facilities and service were impeccable.

We had wondered whether to stay in the Gran Melia on the Argentinian side, but when we saw that hotel in the flesh, it looked like a 70s concrete structure, whereas the Belmont just has style and class and a stunning wide angle view of the falls, so we were so glad that we chose the Belmont. We also wondered how easy it would be to get from the Argentinian side to the Brazilian side, but the reality was that every taxi driver seemed to offer the service and for us, it was a simple 50 minute drive across the border. Once there, the staff were so friendly and helpful and they also gave us a complimentary late check out, which was great for a late flight. The decor of the hotel had a colonial feel, with stylish bars and a lovely terrace for having an evening cocktail or two. Overall, a magical hotel and highly recommended

The Belmond exceeds expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted and cleansed of any concern. The staff pays attention to detail, accommodating any request. The property is historical and meaningful, encouraging relaxation and a connection with nature. All facilities are within comfortable walking distance and easily accessible. The Belmond, at its best, offers an exceptional breakfast experience-something to look forward to and reminisce. The pool complements the hotels beauty, alongside the animals, who are familiar with the property and curious. However, one improvement the Belmond should consider-the dinner experience at IPE (the smaller restaurant, poolside) did not meet expectations. While the food is amazing, the service was not consistent. Otherwise, excellent destination and a memorable experience. Staff was courteous, friendly and efficient going out of the way to be helpful. The setting was magical and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend staying there.

This is a beautiful hotel within the National park on the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. The facilities in the hotel are excellent but its main advantage is the fact that you can access the falls on foot before and after the park is open to other visitors so you can avoid the crowds. Watching sunset over the falls with a glass of champagne only steps from our room is something I will never forget.

The rooms and balcony overlooks the street so the only possible minus is some noise, but it didn't interfere with our sleep or enjoyment of the room.

If you’re going to visit Iguazú Falls, this is the place to stay! The hotel is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The attention to detail and the service is among the best we’ve experienced in other 5-star resorts around the world. We stayed in the Presidential Suite (Princess Diana stayed in this suite) and it had an incredible view of the Iguazú Falls. The swimming pool was one of our favorite places. Thank you for making our stay so very special! We highly recommend this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel with a great location inside the national park at Iguaçu falls. The staff is bery friendly and accommodating. The restaurants are excellent with unique food options. The Y restaurant is wonderful with tasty and unique meal choices. There is a lot to do and see in the area so i would recommend staying for at least 3-4 days. The hotel transportation is to notch and the guides are outstanding. Our driver/guide was Itamar and he was the best ever. Friendly, humorous an knowlegable!
