Room was a little warm but good for a 1 night stay

1St room had a pillar in the middle , and the shower tap wouldn't work. requested a different room and was quickly arranged . This room did not have a pillar and the taps in the sink & shower worked great. The staff was exceptional and deserve full credit.

Breakfast was overcooked and not taste full. Didn’t like sausage. Rose wine from restaurant tasted like a seltzer. Downtown area old and appeared to be unsafe for 2 elderly customers. Waterfront was beautiful. Staff worked hard for cleanliness. Alot of noise first night (after fight exhibition in hall). Other 2 noghts were bettrr

Room was spacious and hotel conveniently located. Only problem we had was the restaurant and bar was not open due to a private wrestling event. A big factor in choosing this hotel was the bar/restaurant and the convenience. Breakfast was basic/mediocre quality but served its purpose for us.

The property is very dated and seems dirty the hotel itself is not inviting. The property seems to be a transition home for people seeking shelter. The area around hotel does not seem safe empty mall and parking lot etc

Older hotel, very few plugs in the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre.

It was my first time visiting the Soo and we arrived late at night. The staff at the counter were very friendly and helpful. However, when we get to the room there was a foul smell at the bathroom, the counter was so sticky and it looked like someone just smeared it with something so smelly it made me feel like throwing up. Everywhere else in the room was so dusty too. We were so tired to complain and just went to sleep as we had an early morning train tour the next day. Upon returning in the evening, another surprise, our beds were not made and just provided us with a stack of new towels which was nice. But, isn’t it standard to make the beds of the guests? Then when we checked out the person at the counter did not even asked how my stay was… so here I am with this review.

While it is an older hotel, the hotel was clean - room was a great size, breakfast provided was good and the staff were so helpful and kind - even booked taxis and shuttles for me travelling to meeting destinations.

Restaurant was not open on Monday. Would have been good to know this before making a choice of where to stay.

Loved this hotel. Nice location close to seafront, well maintained rooms, comfortable and very clean.
