This is out of my expectations as a 4 star hotel. Travel with a 3 year old boy this is definitely a good choice staying here. There are some splash park and toddle pools for liitle one, its a joy for him everyday after breakfast. Location is good also the food is good, everday has different options and some tasted wonderful! 5 star for me at this price 🙃

Clean rooms made up every day. Lovely resort. Pools could be warmer but then that's standard for all outdoor pools. I expected the indoor pool to be warmer than the outdoor though and it isn't. Gym is very dated and could do with modernising, but having said that still a better offer than most places. Second year we've been back so despite the small points it's clear we enjoy the place and woundn't hesitate to return. Not sampled the food there or the all inclusive so can't comment on that.

I stayed at this hotel on a half-board basis and overall felt it was good value for money. The food was buffet style. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and at dinner there was always enough variety to find something to eat. The only downside was that some of the hot dishes could occasionally be a little lukewarm. The complex itself is quite large, with several smaller pools as well as a bigger main pool. It’s also possible to walk from the hotel down to the beachfront, which is convenient if you want to eat out or explore the area. The rooms include a small kitchen area with a fridge, which was really useful for keeping drinks and snacks. My room had a balcony, although it didn’t get much direct sunlight as it was north facing, so it wasn’t ideal for drying swimwear. There is also a self-service laundry on site with two washers and two dryers, which was simple and convenient to use. The staff were hardworking, always present around the complex, and helpful whenever needed. There is also bicycle hire within the complex offering a great range of bikes. The staff there were very helpful, offering advice on various cycling routes around the area. They were professional, friendly, and seemed to be experienced cyclists themselves, which made it easy to get good local recommendations. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and felt the hotel offered good value for the price

My third time staying over due to the proximity to Playa Blanca and the family friendly nature of the THB Tropical especially for young children. Loads of pools and fun activities for the whole family.First visit was in 2018. However the rooms need refreshing. I appreciate that it’s an all year resort so doing up the rooms will be a nightmare financially. But my rooms looked, smelt and felt like a revamp was urgently needed.

Lovely quiet stay.

Settee and beds too low. No tea and coffee supplied. No walk in shower. Require step outside bath and high safety grab bar on shower wall. Air conditioning very difficult to control. Everything else in apartment was excellent. Free bus to beach was inadequate as it does not run often enough and should also have a second stop in town centre. Sports bar is uncomfortable with cheap furniture and is far too small. The pool snack bar was excellent providing good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately the picnic benches are very uncomfortable for elderly folk. Restaurants and buffet meals were very good. Reception was very helpful and pleasant to deal with especially Patricia who was delightful and a wonderful hostess.

A alll inclusiv hotel without all inclusiv- just not fun

Enjoyed our stay , room was okay , staff were great , food was average & monotonous and lacked a variety of GF options . Evening entertainment was decent , distance to beach & marina okay ,

Great amenities and welcoming friendly staff.

Room was spacious and spotless. Staff came in to change bins and make beds every day. Huge complex with things to do for everyone. As a solo traveller I still enjoyed all the amenities. Breakfast buffet was a large area with lots of great choice. Very impressed overall and will definitely return

Room was always always clean

Overall it was a good stay. The rooms could be a bit more updated as there was a lot of dust and holes in the corners of the room. We had an issue with the bathroom but had the cleaner attend the next day. The pools outside the rooms are very convenient. The staff are helpful and on hand 24/7 to provide advice and guidance.

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. While the complex is large and has plenty of pools, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the room wasn't very clean, and I was shocked to find hair on the fresh bedsheets, which is completely unacceptable. We also noticed there were no slippers provided in the room, which added to the lack of comfort.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room clean although a few mozzies. Air con not on in winter so it was far too hot so bought a fan from Ale hop.

The cleaning staff were very consistent, they all cleaned very well everyday and the towels were changed everyday. I had a nice relaxing 5 days here, I chose the half board and the food was excellent.

The resort itself is large, full of pools, and good value for money — no complaints there. However, our experience was unfortunately very negative due to a serious breach of security. The hotel uses duplicate door numbers — for example there are two 524s, one in “Island” and one in “Tropical.” At around 2am, our door was jimmied open by a drunk guest with his own key. We woke up to find a stranger in our bathroom using the toilet, while a child ran out of our front door into the night. He was apologetic, but the incident was frightening — someone was able to access our room while we were asleep. When I reported this to reception, the staff member laughed and asked, “What do you want me to do?” She dismissed the issue and suggested nothing could be done to make the door more secure. The maintenance worker arrived, did not speak English, translated “impossible” through our phone, and left. Thankfully, my partner is a carpenter and he personally fixed the dropped door hinges so that we could double-lock the door — meaning the door was only secure because we repaired it ourselves, not because the hotel took responsibility. Given someone was able to enter our room at night with another room key and the hotel showed no concern or willingness to address a clear security flaw, we would not stay here again. Nice hotel physically, but extremely poor safety and guest care.
