The didn't reserved the room to me even I'd fully paid & confirmed by Hotels.com. The receptist is very impolite and just asked me to go to anther hotel which need 15 min driving time.

No help from reception when we out in the wrong room, twice ! Made a joke and laughed to myself and my mum that we could share a bed like old times !!! Have sent a complaint email and heard nothing !

Great place, lovely room and beautiful grounds.

A great stay again, helpful staff as everything worked well and a lovely stay. We arrived in cool weather and had to use the heater .. all worked and room nice and snug .. it did occur to me that no aircon could be an issue in recent heatwave .. the breakfast was good although quite a lot of stuff was running out by 9:00 on the weekday .. the meals were very good and we eat in the bar both nights .. however the bar staff (just one to cover everything) were run ragged at times .. the restaurant was quiet so maybe the waiting staff (as well as bringing the meals up ) could have helped more in the bar ?? All in all another great stay.

Its a nice entrance & setting but the rooms are basic.Also thought the breakfast could have been better.

Clean, well maintained the rooms are well stocked and good even for business travel. I think the hotel would do with a swimming pool for such a big hotel that will be icing on cake. Location is 10/10 so serene. Grounds are well maintained. Definately coming back but one thing needing attention is AC . In hot weather the rooms are quite unbearable.

Clean comfortable room. We had a snack at the claret jug bar which was good. Breakfast good choices and plentiful. Would stay again

The staff were great. The rooms are clean and easily accessible. The security was a plus. The only thing that was an issue was that the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. Appart from that I enjoyed, I would recommend and stay again considering the cost.

No real complaints to be made, the venue was everything promoted on its website.

The woman who served me in the bar on Tuesday 28th April was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good with a great selection, even though I arrived fairly late. It’s a lovely hotel, but a shame there isn’t a swimming pool.

Hotel was fantastic. Lovely and tranquil only negative is the restaurant wasn’t open so only had a limited bar menu and some of the items on the bar menu aren’t available after 5pm very very small font that tells you this. That small we never noticed. Breakfast was superb lots of options but cooked breakfast items were very cold

A nice hotel with clean comfortable room. Breakfast offered a good variety of items and staff were friendly . The usp is definitely the view from the bedroom which was great ! Looking out over the golf course was lovely

No shower caps on site. Charge £15 for late check out Basic amenities. Small rooms. Comfortable bed.
