Reception Team gave excellent service

I didn't use breakfast, so I can't comment about it. I am not qualified to characterise the eco-friendly aspects. It is annoying that the survey doesn't allow alternative options for answers. However, my stay at Mercure Hotel West Bromwich was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful when I had situations. I can't mention the names of all staff, because not so many had a badge with the name. I mentioned in a previous of my reviews the name of Marita, purely because she wear a badge, but all her colleagues were super fine. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The speed of internet... has room for improvement.

A very last minute stay after being let down by another property. The reception staff went above and beyond. Room was clean and had the most comfortable bed I've experienced in a hotel. We didnt have time to use the pool etc but did dine in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Food was lovely with gluten free options. Would definitely stay again.

The room was not ok, but I was promptly moved into another room, from which moment everything went well.

Rooms and lobby are fine, good buffet breakfast and friensly staff. Unfortunately let down by tired and dated leisure facilities. 15 mins walk to metro which gets you into B'ham centre in about another 15 mins.

Easy check in with friendly staff. Room and bed were very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were lovely with breakfast having a really good selection of items with plenty of staff around if needed. Hotel is a bit of a maze with odd staircases dotted around but I quite liked the adventure. A good stay, if I find myself needing to go to the Birmingham area again I'd definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness was poor particularly in the gym facilities. Didn’t use due to unhygienic standards. Breakfast was not great either, not somewhere I would recommend.

Gut: Großes Zimmer, Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer, Fenster kann auf Kipp geöffnet werden, Schwimmbad und Fitness vorhanden. Nicht so gut: Klimaanlage defekt. Es standen dafür eine kleine Standheizung und ein Ventilator auf dem Zimmer, keine Minibar, keine deutschen Fernsehprogramme, Schwimmbad und Fitness sind öffentlich zugänglich ( daher teilweise sehr voll )

Was a lovely stay. Room was perfect for the weekend. Parking was well priced. Didn't have time to try the pool/gym facilities but looked good when we walked past. Metro was close and didnt take long to get into Birmingham. Will book again if we were to come back no hesitation.
