Great stay at Il borgo di villa Castelletti. We were there for a wedding and it was such a beautiful, peaceful and charming place where to spend a couple of days.

Great staff, brilliant breakfast!

Le camere sono dei miniappartamenti dotati di tutto (c’è anche un micro-cucinino con la piattaia piena di scodelle, tazze, bicchieri, piatti, tegami e tegamini, posate e coperchi; ci sono pure le forbici e la mezzaluna: era da quando andavo a casa di mia nonna che non vedevo una mezzaluna da cucina! 😅), compreso un tavolo per quattro persone, un salottino ed un televisore grande quanto il letto. Alcune stanze hanno il soppalco (tenetene conto se avete difficoltà di movimento!) e due finestre (pure nel bagno!). La colazione è un BRUNCH: avete presente il concetto di “mangiare fino allo sfinimento”? Perfetto, è il posto giusto per mettere in pratica il vostro proposito suicida. I biscotti sono di pasticceria, in pastafrolla, alcuni semplici ed altri ripieni di vaniglia, cioccolato o marmellata. I cornetti sono piccoli in modo da potersi togliere la voglia di mangiarne due, magari di gusti diversi. Le torte sono fatte in casa, così come tutto il salato: troverete caprese, pizza, focaccia semplice, focaccia valdostana, parigina di pasta sfoglia, rosette al formaggio, frittate, tramezzini e tartine,

Un petit hôtel familial au calme à l'extérieur de Florence. Le bâtiment est typique de la région. Nous avons été très bien accueilli en français ou en anglais, la chambre était propre et il y a le nécessaire dans la cuisine pour se faire une salade et des pâtes italiennes ! Le petit-déjeuner offre beaucoup de variétés salés et sucrés et le café est fait à la demande en direct. La piscine en fin de journée est un vrai plus et le jardin est parfait pour laisser les enfants prendre l'air (mais beaucoup de marches pour les tout-petits). L'hôtel offre un service pour aller à la gare de Signa prendre le train pour Florence, parfait pour une visite à la journée ! Une parenthèse toscane bienvenue lors d'un road trip ❤️🇮🇹🚗

The property looked very different than in the advertised

This is a small bungalow type room with kitchen. The hotel is great. Best breakfast. This is a country hotel, about 30 to 40 minutes from Florence by car. you can take the train or drive (if you dare) to go back and forth to the city. I was nice to get out of the city. The picture is a bit misleading, the hotel is actually the lower left side on the picture. It is very clean, comfortable and peaceful.

Il Borgo Di Villa Castelletti is a cute property! Very peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed our time there. The only thing is if you do not have a car you will need to get a taxi every time you want to go somewhere. Nothing is walkable except the restaurant on property that offers dinner. Other than that it’s a great place.
