This hotel is very outdated in the rooms. In the lobby and common areas beautiful. The rooms are absolutely old and definitely need a gut and rebuild. This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel this should be labeled as a 2 star hotel. Staff were nice and very pleasant. Everything closes at 10PM so there goes your night life in Cartagena unless you know the spots to go to. Also the min you step outside there vendors begging for money. Bed was alright anything else very very old especially the bathroom that's constantly painted over or chipping paint and the curtains are yellow! The windows are so dirty you can barely see the views and in the pool they have a caution tape because rocks fall from the updaters balcony on the kiddy side of the pool.

This property is in a great location but is not being maintained very well. They also have some very strange hours for the amenities. The gym closes around 5 pm. The pool closes around 8 but does not open until noon. My room, which was supposed to be one of the best, was not very clean and was in need of some work. There were a lot of stains and just a general feel of dirtiness. The shower looked like what you would find in an old gym with stained an missing grout. The AC would never get the room below 23 degC. When my allergies were starting to act up, I looked at the filter. It was so incredibly nasty that I was mad that I was breathing the air that came through it. This thing was disgusting! I removed it an called the front desk for a replacement. The maintenance guy took the old filter but never brought a new one. The mattress was older feeling. It was firm and springy (not in a good way). The pillows were just odd-some sort of hard foam-not traditional pillows. We were able to sleep comfortably but are not super picky about those types of things. The included breakfast was good. There is no coffee in the rooms, so you have to go downstairs to get it. The staff was incredibly friendly. The location is great. You can walk to a bunch of great food options. Taxi to the old city is super cheap. All in all I would think there are better options for the money. I will likely not come back to this place. I paid for a nice hotel and got an old one.

The hotel needs to be renovated ASAP and the service is not that good. It was not a good experience in this hotel.

The breakfast was cold and the internet was spotty. The hot water had to run for five minutes to get hot. The massage was good. The location, directly across from my beach is the reason you will pay what you pay. This place was not worth what we paid,
