The hotel is clean, nice and comfortable. We arrived the hotel around 2PM in rainny Thursday. The reception inform the room are not ready. They insist we can check in after 4PM. So we need to take around with umbrella. But we found there are so many customers at that day.

The location is convenient. The staff at the reception are very helpful and give us many useful information about activities we wanted to do.

Our stay was nice but this is not a 5 star hotel any longer. It is in need of some updating and better explanation of available amenities upon check in.

The stay at Vintage House was a highlight of our holiday. The staff were absolutely lovely and the meal at Rabelo Restaurant was world class. All the while soaking up the glorious Douro Valley views from our verandah. A perfect stay.

Beautiful property. Breakfast was delicious and there was quite a spread of fresh fruit, hot dishes, lunch meats and cheeses. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel maravilhoso, com um visual de tirar o fôlego! Localização perfeita para quem se hospeda na região de Pinhão. Possui estacionamento próprio, com muitas vagas. Nosso quarto era perfeito e muito confortável. O café da manhã é ótimo. Recomendo demais! E voltarei, com certeza!

Quarto com cama boa, vista linda, toalhas boas mas faltou roupão. Havia um cheiro de “ralo” de banheiro apesar de estar limpo. A pintura das portas da varanda estava descascando e vários locais precisavam de retoques. Café da manhã bom mas sem muita variedade. A piscina é muito agradável e poder ter acesso ao passeio na orla do Rio Douro é bem interessante.

The entire staff was congenial and very helpful. The room was spotless, elegant, and the bed very comfortable. The French doors opened onto a small patio with table and chairs, and a view overlooking the Douro River across to hills of vineyards. The smell of the jasmine in the courtyard permeated the air. We did not anticipate the welcome glass of port, and really enjoyed it while relaxing in the library bar. In the morning we enjoyed an English breakfast, and there were yogurts, fresh cheeses and fruit, and a huge variety of breads and pastries. One night was not enough! If you can visit this lovely part of Portugal, I highly recommend at least one night here.

Everything was great... however the doors were very thin and there was a lot of noise from people walking and talking in the corridor, we woke up multiple times throughout the nights. The views were amazing, and the restaurant was a great surprise.

Breakfast buffet was great. Grounds were well maintained
