Everything was brilliant staff very friendly and the room was great and spa excellent

Very clean. Gorgeous room. Separate shower and bath. Complimentary gin and tonic in the room. Coffee pod machine.

Clean room. Needed a bell at the bar so that you didn’t have to go to reception to ask for someone to come & serve us.

Second visit to Rothay Gardens. Lovely get away. Restaurant is fantastic and the staff always helpful and accommodating.

staff were amazing, had an amazing time, the dinner was really good, food was at a very high standard. every member of staff was extremely friendly and hospitable.

Staff pleasant enough, evening meal good , breakfast excellent, amenities ok , furniture dated , needs a little more ambiance in dinning area , music maybe freshening up decor. Bed very comfortable room spotlessly clean . Thank you for the stay

The room was special

Beautiful room, complimentary G&T, excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Our room was above the dining room/kitchen, so we were sadly woken up at 6am by music playing.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Beautiful bedrooms. Superb spa. Delicious food. Just awesome.

Food and spa were incredible but for us the area that let it down was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. We had a couple above us and we could hear snoring clear as day and everytime they moved the floorboards had such loud squeaking. They didn’t help dragging suitcases about in the night for some reason but for one of their more luxury rooms, it was disappointing

Good location with and spa. Room OK with nice views over garden and hills. Bath could do with à little regrouting, if I am been critical. Also would have been nice to be notified by Expedia there is a £10 charge for parking, prior to making the booking, not after! Not charged if booking direct with Hotel. That said, excelent staff and will stay again.

Perfectly placed in a quiet spot on the edge of Grasmere with stunning views. Lots of walks from the doorsteps of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, took our luggage, took an interest into our stay, couldn’t fault the service. Breakfast set up was good with a range of cooked options included in the breakfast price. Had one meal at the restaurant, nice setting and atmosphere, professional service, food was decent slightly underwhelming however given the reputation of the restaurant. Spa was small but rarely busy, great for relaxing in after a day out walking. Room was a little tired, in need of renovation, but a good size and very comfortable. Smart TV was a big plus. Separate bath with its own tv felt luxurious. Overall a lovely stay

Overall it was a brilliant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious, loved having two balconies overlooking the river and the use of the spa was great. Also included lovely toiletries. Negatives: cobwebs over the bed andRound the hotel
