Rummen var otroligt gamla, hade en trasig tv som de bytte ut, duschröret läckte vatten, rinner sakta, saker trasiga i rummet bl.a Acn från 90 talet ville starta när den ville. Svårt med alla trappor och 3 hissar man fick ta ner för att bada. Mitt rum var i reception våningen därav alla trappor och hissar. Renligheten runt hotellet var katastrof! Poolen hade smuts och papper flög runt i restaurangen, de tömde inte papperskorgarna runt poolen, stranden och maten var inte alls god! De är sega med att hjälpa dig där och plockar upp maten strax innan stängning. Soppa vart slut utan att de fyllde på fastän det var 30 min kvar! Bästa servicen var baren otroligt bra killar och tjejer som var hjälpsamma!

Otelin dekorasyonu, mimarisi ve manzarası en beğendiğimiz yönleriydi. Karşılamaları çok samimi ve güler yüzlüydü. Özellikle Necati Bey'in ilgisi ve misafirperverliği için teşekkür ederiz. Restoran ekibi çok ilgili, güler yüzlüydü Hizmetlerinden çok memnun kaldık. Plajı çok geniş değildi. Kum sürekli ayağımıza kadar geliyordu. Denize ilk girişte taşlar vardı, bu yüzden iskeleden girmek daha rahat oluyordu. Genel olarak keyifli bir konaklama geçirdik

Tesis eski bir tesis fakat tam bir fiyat performans oteli. Personel gerçekten çok yardımcı oluyor ve özellikle mutfakları çok çeşitli ve çok lezzetli sadece daha fazla deniz ürünü beklerdim. Yine de şeflerini tebrik ediyorum çok güzel ürün çeşitliliği sağlamış. Odaların konforu, temizliği, vaadedilen spa&gym imkanları ve aktiviteler beş yıldızlı otel olmayı hakedecek seviyede değil fakat tüm işletmenin ve personelin iyi niyetini görünce verdiğiniz ücretin karşılığı olduğunu anlıyorsunuz. Gençler, macera arayanlar için çok uygun denemez sanki ailemin yazlık evine gelmiş gibi bir his :) Bodrum merkezin yanı başında olduğu için havaalanından ulaşım kolay hem de merkezde farklı alternatifleri denemek ve sosyalleşmek mümkün.

Odamdaki duş başlıklarının hali içler acısıydı; otelin ciddi bir rönevasyona ihtiyacı var; fiyat performans olarak yetersiz bir oteldi…

Genel olarak iyiydi. Personel yardımcı oldu. Yolum düşerse tekrar giderim. Teşekkürler.

The Salmakis Resort & Spa was an enticing place but little things meant that it didn't deserve its 5 star rating. The WiFi did not work in the hotel room, only in the restaurant and reception areas, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. When we arrived there was one area through which everyone had to walk to access other areas of the hotel, which had a large pallet loaded with what seemed to be large boxes of machinery. Over our stay this pallet was gradually unloaded but the boxes were just moved to corridors outside the hotel rooms on various levels. There was evidence of damage to some of the mosaics set into walkways and repairs were needed to the steps from our room down to the pool area. In my hotel room, there was no plug for the bathroom basin, meaning to shave it was necessary to keep running the water - a waste of resources. There was no toilet roll holder beside the toilet, just a couple of toilet rolls sitting on a shelf beneath the hand basin. The beach towels were obviously quite old as many of them were frayed at the edges. In all, whilst we enjoyed our stay there it definitely was not worth a 5 star rating.

To use indoor pool they insist on a swim cap! So we didn’t bother. Breakfast was Turkish, could do with more fruit and better cereals. Room tired and bathroom needs renovating, all very tired. Everyone smoking so hotel smelt of smoke which didn’t suit us. To get to the beach there are three lifts with a lot of walking in between so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Staff friendly but we wouldn’t return.

Great beakfast. The staff was nice. Rooms were beautiful. The pool amazing. The manger was not so nice he seems to enjoy mansplaining things when he himself doesn't know how thngs work. That was the only downside.

Beautiful views, beach could have been cleaner. Staff attentive. Food good.

As soon as i checked in and wanted to shower, the bathroom had water all over the floor and the shower had issues and the shower head was very slow. I called them and they said will fix it, but I'm there for only 2 days do i have time to wait for my shower after a long flight?. I went downstairs to eat and they charged me for food instead of making it up for me with bathroom problems. After i finished eating i went to the room to shower and the water wasn't going through it was messed up and they said someone fixed it. Nothing was fixed and i don't recommend wasting time in this hotel as they claim it 5 stars. It's a 3 star hotel not 5 realistically speaking.

Worst stay at a hotel which ruined the whole 7 nights.Never again will I stay at this 5 star hotel.

We have been to Salmakis a number of times and I was disappointed to see how the facilities have deteriorated and the common areas; beach and pool is not well maintained. I don’t think we will be back sadly.

Poor facilities. Food for all meals terrible and if you dare to complain staff were really rude and I am pretty laid back but would never stay here again much better options close to main areas.

The room was generally clean, though the furnishings and overall condition showed signs of age. Staff were consistently courteous, understanding, and helpful throughout our stay. However, several issues impacted our experience. We noticed items in our luggage had been moved—guests should keep belongings secured. Toward the end of our visit, cigarette smoke began seeping into our room. The front desk informed us that adjacent rooms were vacant but offered to relocate us. Strangely, we observed lights turning on and off and heard toilets flushing in one of those rooms, suggesting possible unauthorized use—perhaps by staff during breaks. The air conditioning was ineffective and failed to cool the room properly. Smoking is widespread across the property, including the beach, pool, bars, and restaurant. Guests with asthma or smoke sensitivity should be cautious, as there are no designated non-smoking areas and the hotel does not clearly advertise its smoking-friendly status. The main restaurant offers a decent variety of food, though it can become repetitive. Cleanliness was inconsistent—glassware and utensils often appeared dirty, and flies were present around the buffet. Many guests were visibly ill and lacked basic hygiene, which was concerning. Despite these drawbacks, the beach and pier are beautiful, and the food is enjoyable. Recommended only if you're comfortable with a smoking environment and can overlook some cleanliness concerns.
