A wonderful hotel with beautiful environment, spacious room, confortable simming pool and best restaurant.

Stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The executive room was lovely and had a river view. The only downside of that was when the spa opened you could hear voices outside, especially when the spa opens early in the morning. The shower was great and bed really comfy. Breakfast in the hotel was good. They do continental help yourself and order the hot food and tea/coffee. The first morning we did wait quite a long time to order and noticed others who came in after us ordered and received their food before we ordered and it wasn’t too busy. The 2nd day we ordered quickly and received our food quickly so wasn’t a regular thing with the slow service. The spa was lovely too having been done up. The outdoor is great and indoor relaxing, the indoor pool was a little cold though! We did have messages also which were lovely. I would return again, I would just be prepared for the colder indoor pool and allocate longer for breakfast.

A fantastic stay.

The stay at Gleddoch was average. I had stayed previously but this time with the spa renovation it is not included in the price of the overnight and it also does not allow under 16s which as a family with a baby meant we couldn’t use the facilities at all.

Stayed regularly previously. Had a gift voucher for afternoon tea. We always loved the pool but it was difficult with the new policies- guests now pay a staggering £25 each to use the pool but they also get less access than day visitors having a spa - access at 7 am till 9 am ( on holiday !!) or in the evening - made it difficult to fit in afternoon tea ( which we previously would have done on day of departure) and dinner ! Had to leave spa early ( after paying £25 for two hours ) to run to dinner as dining room closing !

2nd time we have been here in the last couple of months - absolutely love it! Spa is amazing and so worth the extra £25pp :)

Hotel is stunning, room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was lovely, Could do with a fridge in the room. The Spa it is really beautiful, the pool is stunning and nice saunas and steam rooms, however I do not understand the rule that hotel residents only get to use it between certain hours and have to pay £25 per person to use it. This meant that my husband and i paid £50 to hardly use the spa! It was so busy there was not enough loungers for everyone, the sauna and stream rooms were uncomfortably full, spa is supposed to be relaxing but it was the total opposite we left after 30 mins. If hotel residents are only getting to use it between certain hours then do not charge for this. It puts me off going back which is a shame.

Avoid the breakfast. Nice spa and facilities.

Great Stay! Staff were fantastic throughout. Perhaps could do with a little decor refresh in guest room and common areas but the newly renovated spa is lovely and overall a great stay.

We arrived on a hot day and the room was absolutely roasting, no air conditioning so we had to sleep on top of bed with the windows open. I had asked for a quiet room but our room overlooked the carpark where cars were arriving from 6am! The room across from ours had a dog in it and it barked every time owners left room. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was nice but overpriced and when in for breakfast the floor was disgusting, crumbs everehere. We booked this hotel as a treat as i turned 60 when there . Couldn't be bothered to complain when checking out as it was my birthday and just wanted to get away quick

Good stay for business

Rooms were a bit grubby and unkept. Furniture looked well worn/bashed with dirty skirtings and there was loads of cables hanging down out the TV. The room was so hot which is of course outwith hotels control but there was a fan in the room which helped. Continental breakfast was average. Spa facilities were nice although I’d be reluctant to use at a weekend/evening as not sure the bar aligns with the relaxing aim of using a spa with drunk people being loud. When booking I thought the price was really reasonable for how the hotel looked in photos but after visiting I can see the price reflected it. All the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly.

Hôtel qui d’aspect extérieur paraît plutôt haut de gamme mais vieillissant ++++. Nous étions 4 et n’avions que 3 serviettes dans la chambre et pas de tapis de bain. J’ai été en demander à l’accueil on m’a dit qu’on nous les amenait je les attends toujours. Je m’étais trompé j’avais réservé une chambre avec 2 lits doubles j’ai demandé un lit double et 2 lits simples à l’accueil. On m a dit qu’ils n’avaient que des chambres lit doubles mais qu’on pouvait mettre un lit d’appoint ce que j’ai accepté. Au final le lit d’appoint avait un matelas si fin que même un enfant de 6 ans s’enfonçait dans la structure du lit! La lampe de chevet ne marchait pas et la douche s’évacuait à peine. De plus les joints de la douche étaient noirs! Enfin le petit déjeuner était un scandal ( commande a table) : réchauffé, sec, et pourtant on n’est pas difficile en nourriture… bref hôtel à éviter, très mauvais rapport qualité prix!

I’ve stayed here 10 times now and it’s a great place to stay, that’s just outside Glasgow.

I had ordered a bottle of wine for my stay and never received it. I was never told that to access the pool you not only has to pay £25/person and have designated time slots but you can only go to the indoor pool if you’re 16 yrs and older. The restaurant is very posh and EXPENSIVE. Very limited in food options for families with kids. It was nice but I wouldn’t go back. 3 dinners, 3 drinks £118?! Ridiculous.
