This was a great short overnight stay with a great breakfast in the morning. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Everything was great except that the charges were somehow mixed up and ended up charged more than what was quoted. So much for a free upgrade. Going to reach out and try to resolve. Otherwise 5 stars and a great overnight. Beautiful property and grounds. Great breakfast.

John, the owner and host has a beautiful B&B in a great location. Our suite's king bed was the bomb! So comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The decor is amazing throughout the house; various snacks everywhere; coffee/tea areas plus filtered water. John's dogs (Paris, Coco and Greta) were delightful and very friendly. Highly recommend staying at John's Fairfield Place in Shreveport, LA!!!

Only stayed one night passing through but it was a great place to experience.

Very cute place to stay!

The place was lovely. As this was my first time in a bed and breakfast, the standard is now very high. The property is well maintained. The home has so much charm. Breakfast was very good. Wonderful staff. I look forward to staying again.

The stay was amazing. The owner/chef was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. Breakfast was superb and there were a ton of snacks available. Thank you John for a superb experience.

Came to town for a doctor's appt, and because of my stay last time I chose to stay here again. This time I stayed in the Fairfield Manor, just catty corner across the street, and the place is beyond beautiful. John, the owner is an amazing host. He makes sure your comfortable, and happy. I ended up staying an extra night, and it was great. This is going to be my place to stay whenever I have to come to town.

We had an extraordinary stay at Fairfield Place! Our accommodations in the Bradbury Suite were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The multitude of porches and courtyards made it easy to relax and unwind. There were complimentary snacks and beverages everywhere. Staff was available as needed, but otherwise invisible. It felt a little like housitting, but I didn’t have take care of any plants and a fabulous chef cooked me breakfast! We would definitely stay there again!

Very interesting decorations and decor. Loved the variety of snacks, teas, and candies. Unfortunately, our early departure did not allow for us to attend and enjoy breakfast. We will have to come back!
