It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.

We stayed for one night to meet friends on the waterfront. Perfect location for the eateries there and easy access to the high street too. Parking is a little limited at peak times but there’s a multi storey next door. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was really good too with lots of choice, although the coffee wasn’t great. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for what we needed it for. Will stay again if we’re in the area.

Great position for the City on the waterfront. Restaurants on your doorstep. Very reasonably priced rooms.

The staff were great, the rooms were lovely, and the only thing that let the place down was actually other guests who changed the controls on the toaster, to the degree that the rest of my breakfast went cold while I put my bread through 3 times, and then gave up - resulting in cold breakfast, stewed, cold tea, hard bread instead of toast - apparently it's an ongoing problem, which the staff perhaps need to monitor a bit more closely.

Onsite parking is available at an extra charge of £10 per night. The rooms are clean. Staff are polite and friendly.

Hotel was a bit grubby and in need of new decor, staff were great and helpful but room booked for 3 with sofa bed had no bedding suppled

The breakfast buffet was always gull and fresh, very clean amenities, not alot of parking spaces struggled the second night to get a space. Many cars where parking in a none space.

We arrived at 9pm with a car full of expensive filming equipment, no spaces in the car park. I suggested parking where other cars were parking near the hotel on double yellows but the desk person said this was not allowed and they would be moved on, they weren’t nor were the two non disabled cars in the disabled bays. Parking is very badly managed and desk person totally unhelpful. Feel sorry for any disabled drivers as non of the spaces were being used by blue badge holders

Great location, friendly staff, good room and parking on site was decently priced.

The parking was great as it was for 24hrs and I was only there for one night so could leave my car there while I had an explore. Great location to walk into town. I didn’t have breakfast, room was quite dark with no proper window but I think that was reflected in the price. I was impressed with everything else.

The cleaners - My gosh, were excellent I mean the ones that cleaned my room. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The reception was very helpful too, loved the complementary welcome drinks … it really helped. However the only thing that bothered me was the testing of the fire alarm without warning . This woke me up and had me running down the stairs just to realize it was just a test. I am not sure maybe it’s common knowledge for everyone from there but for me , there should have been a warning or a "this is just a test" announcement

Always enjoyable whenever we stay hete. The staff wrfe very friendly and helpful when it came to bringing a baby cot to the room. They even set it up for us. We always go back to this hotel because of the beauty and location.

Upon arrival I was shown to room stinking of sewage- Then moved to another ok room. Took a 5m shower and found the floor flooded all the way to carpet. Used all towels to stem the flow and was then upgraded to a goods room with a not so good view. More modern.”, less stinky, no drain issues. Enjoyed it- went to extend my stay 1 night and was told price was 175pounds? I paid 96$ for previous night thru Expedia Had to book a room 20m away, hire a car, and that was not good hospitality. They were kind, but maybe treated furry friends better than those with 2 legs and $/lbs!

Rooms were clean, and everything else was all good. A good nights stay.

Great location, large room, well appointed, easy parking

Turned down the bed & the sheet was filthy. Covered in marks & hair! Staff did come & change the sheets but not pillow cases! Didn’t realise at first! There was lumps of dust on the floor as well. Light fitting over the sofa didn’t work at all. Had air con in the room (18 degrees) as it was really hot in there & when I got back the cleaners had turned it on hot (30 degrees). So had to start again cooling the room down! There was a mini bar, with no info at all. No prices or advice on if it was free. Our room wasn’t too bad, but friends room was so dark! & other friends had to move as the room smelt really badly! Breakfast was very tasty & amazing choice. & staff were very helpful & friendly. Free drink at the bar was a really nice touch.

We stayed two nights without children and dog. Our dog was made to feel very welcome by all staff which was great. Shout outs to Julie and Charlie who went above and beyond looking after our dog whilst we had dinner.
