We stayed in a room that is more spacious than average ones. Clean and tidy. Staff are very polite and hospitable. Buffet style English breakfast is served, and quite tasty. The kitchen even takes simple orders to suit your needs. Guests can also use the pool and gym for free, which is rare for many hotels. Lots of parking spaces. The only concern is that the room has no air conditioning. During a summer day it could be rather hot and stuffy.

The reception team in particular were excellent, very efficient and friendly. The bar team and restaurant were very good too, will definitely stay again.

All the employees I came into contact with (reception, bar and breakfast area) were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. All the breakfast items were freshly cooked, and were constantly being replenished.

The Waterside Hotel was very good in terms of facilities and staff. However, the room was exceptionally hot after a spell of warm weather. The main issue though was that there was no shower! I had upgraded to a King Room. There was a corner bath with a handheld shower attachment. There was nowhere to sit the attachment without soaking the entire bathroom which led to having to switch the shower on and off to wash. A standard room with decent shower would have been a better option.

Staff were brilliant and very helpful Food was great coffee excellent. Not so keen on swimming pool been were everyone can look in and the room was very dated and warm, the fan hardly worked and we had a disabled room as there wasn’t anything separate the toilet and shower so water went all over the toilet. It’s was one night so we just got on with it.. but food and staff were excellent.

The noisiest hotel we have stayed in, in a long time Children running around corridors screaming and banging on doors when trying to sleep Then again at 7am in morning ! No consideration for anyone else staying there and trying to relax Won’t be returning

Free parking onsite. Excellent leisure facilities with 24/7 gym, and a pool and hydrotherapy suite open til late PM. Breakfast selection was fantastic and the cooked food was really nice. Eggs nice and dippy, not overly greasy food either which was good. Lovely continental selection too. The rooms are quite cosy size wise....I stayed in a twin, but it had everything you needed. Only negative was the doors weren't the best for keeping out noise from the corridors, but otherwise the stay was great. Would happily stay again. The staff in the bar and restaurant were so friendly and kind. It was really refreshing.

A one night stay - Comfortable, clean with nice staff

Breakfast always decent. Bar has a good selection of beer and other drinks. Staff are excellent! Good pool and fitness centre too!

Stayed in a standard twin room. Good value for the price. Great spa facilities included (pool open till 10pm and spa till 9.30pm) in price of room. Breakfast pretty good but can't comment on 'full English' type as we're veggie, but the poached eggs on toast were excellent. Friendly staff throughout.
