this is a nice place. But as the sound insulation is not good, it become noicy at night time when the people get in and out the rooms.

It’s a very nice hotel which includes a indoor pool. We enjoy it. We went for breakfast the next morning at 8am. The breakfast time from 8am to 10 am. When we entered restaurant there were just about less than 10 persons out there. Waitress asked us to sit in table close to door for our 7 persons group. We wanted to sit close to window, so we can enjoy the beautiful view. The girl helped us to bring more chairs to us. Then, the manager came while he said we can not sit there, because there’s no enough table for all guests although there were almost empty at that time. We told him we only took 30 minutes to finish our breakfast then we left to Ban bury, but he kept saying that loudly, so everyone just stair us. Later, he agreed since we already sit there. It’s a beautiful morning but he ruined our mood.

Great breakfast, room was good, but found some dirty pillows. Rooms are not soundproof so you will hear everything from next rooms or from upstairs. You're not allowed to buy food from outside and dinners but expensive.

An okay hotel for a short stay. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay with veggies in the morning. Swimming pool is cold. Outdated.

The steam room and jacuzzi weren’t working

Had a great long weekend, well kept grounds, room larger than expected & spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice on offer. Plenty to choose from on the dinner menu also & food cooked to perfection. Cannot believe this is only rated 3 stars, at the very least it should be 4 star. We will return again.

Special Welcome from super friendly staff on arrival, and very accommodating to a late check out request All 3 members of staff i interacted with went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Great accommodation in beautiful surroundings, and great facilities to enjoy during my stay. Another great visit here, look forward to returning!

Excellent country hotel, not too far from Windermere. Seems to be a dog and dogowners haven! I really liked the presence of the cute dogs. Surroundings very lovely. Please be aware that there are no restaurants in the vicinty and hotel has limited capacity in theirs. After a full day on the lake we came back to the hotel and no dinner😡

Would definitely recommend, and aim to stay again next year. Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings - far enough away from the busy Lake District hotspots to make it a peaceful stay, yet close enough to everywhere you might want to visit! Beautiful garden and pond, with friendly ducks. Clean throughout with spacious room and bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. Only little niggle - it would be an added bonus to be able to have a cappuccino or latte choice at breakfast :)

The hotel was very well kept and our bedroom we think had been recently refurbished and was lovely and clean. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and the scenery out of the window over the duck pond was beautiful. The grounds were well maintained with seating areas outside and also around the duck pond. The only problem we encountered was the Jacuzzi on the second night was a bit hot to sit in but we still had the pool and steam and sauna to enjoy. We enjoyed this hotel so much we have booked to go back in July. Very highly recommended.

Staff were fantastic, so welcoming and helpful. Room and bathroom were neat and tidy and comfortable. Facilities were excellent. Fantastic venue, highly recommend!

Lovely location and setting, peaceful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and the gym and pool facilities were excellent. Room was clean and cosy. Easy to get to Bowness, Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston and Newby Bridge

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The rooms were beautifully clean and housekeeping were in every day. Breakfast was really good a lot of variety, well cooked, always hot. Buffet style but replenished constantly. Well sited for the touring of the lakes by whatever way you wish to do so.
