Airport friendly and close waking to limited shopping

Spend 5 days at the hotel, room was never cleaned!! Even after requesting it!!

Nice hotel, right at the norder with denmark and germany.

It was a very easy going hotel experience from the perspective of a businessman that regularly stays away for work. Restaurant was superb. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were all friendly. The only thing is the building feels slightly dated, but not at all in any major way. I will be staying there again for future travel to the area.

Nice Hotel, clean and comfortable rooms with pleasant staff. Breakfast is good and the restaurant serves nice food but the sauces are particularly salty for me.The location was convenient for me as I was visiting a company that was just across the road.

Overall a very nice hotel - we stayed with family and kids - and especially for the kids during summer it was very welcoming. very nice staff.

Was just a quick overnight stay due to a wedding party in the area. The building had some water damage, meaning that the exterior was being repaired. Good value for money, however, a special thank you to Lone at the reception. Her personality and welcoming mood, made the whole stay worth a lot more. That’s something worth more than money in my book.

The hotel was nicely situated in relation to surrounding attractions. It was clean and well run. The restaurant on site was a bit pricey, but my one real complaint would be the heavy doors to the rooms that slam shut on their own. They woke me up numerous times since people had trouble controlling them.

The heating and hot water was broken, no discount was offered or available.

The hotel was fine and having stayed there before I was expecting another good, short-but-sweet visit but despite the hotel being clean, tidy and offering a friendly welcome it went downhill rapidly the morning of check-out when there was no hot water in any rooms!! When mentioning this to reception at time of check out, my colleagues and I were all told that the boiler was broken and that it would be working next time we visited. There was no apology or offer of anything by way of making amends for this situation, so I doubt very much that there will be a "next time"!!

Good clean hotel with nice restaurant that was in a convenient location for my trip - the company that I was visiting resided in a business park opposite the hotel.

We stayed two kids and two adults in a family room. Room was clean and space was ok as the kids bed is bunker beds. The place is very kids friendly, they have a indoor pool which we enjoyed and huge green outdoor areas where kids can play football or just play around. Breakfast buffet has a large variety of hot and cold food, typically Scandinavian.

A good Scandic hotel with all the usual facilities. A nice small pool and gym. The evening meal was excellent and good value for money. Only down side is that the hotel is out of town so not very good if not in a car./

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely with many options. Overall I would recomend this hotel, but with one warning it is on the very edge of the town of Sønderborg and as my cousin and I arrived in town by train we had quite the walk (3km ish) through an unlikely looking residential area to get to the hotel. So it is not really a walkable hotel. However the staff were amazing and all acomidations were just what we needed! Would very much recomend!

In Sonderborg for a two nights. Fortunately we had a car, because the hotel is out of town - convenient for the highway, but a long way from downtown restaurants, waterfront, etc. (which, by the way, are definitely worth a visit). Taxis may be available, of course. Rooms seem a bit dated - seventies decor, beds a bit soggy - but the amenities are fine, including bar, restaurant and small swimming pool. No elevator to upper floor rooms that we could find, so don't bring heavy suitcases. It was fine for our purposes. On the other hand, the breakfasts (included in our price) were very good and the staff were excellent and really helpful, especially at front desk.
