This hotel deserves zero stars if that were an option. It was a terrible experience, and here’s why: 1. Outdated Facilities: The roof appears to have been neglected for years, and the overall condition of the facilities is poor. 2. Worn-out Bedding: The bed linens were old and tattered, making for an uncomfortable sleep. 3. Unpleasant Odor: The room smelled damp and musty, reminiscent of an old, poorly ventilated house. 4. No Umbrellas Provided: On a rainy night, the so-called resort had no umbrellas available for guests. 5. Inedible Food: The quality of the food was extremely poor. 6. No Water Without Warning: There was a water outage during the night without any prior notice or warning. The room had no phone, so I had to run to the front desk in the pouring rain, only to find no staff present. This resulted in not being able to shower in the hot weather and could not use tolit until the following day. 7. Incorrect Wi-Fi Password: The Wi-Fi password provided at check-in was incorrect. We had to make a second trip to the front desk to be told it was a printing error. The most unacceptable part was the unannounced water outage. At 11 p.m., I attempted to take a shower, only to find there was no water—neither for bathing nor for the toilet. I went to the front desk, which was completely unmanned. The next day, when I brought up the issue with staff, one person claimed the water was only off for 10 minutes, and another, after consulting the manager, said it was 30 minute

Very family friend, there is only one restaurant but the food is really good. Pool area very nice, and kids friendly. Staff very friendly. Room very clean.

Our experience in Costa Rica at CC Beach Front Papagayo was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thanks to Melody and Gabriel, who took great care of us during dinner and always kept the drinks flowing with a smile. Five stars to the chef for the incredible variety of food offered every day — every bite was delicious! Overall, the entire hospitality staff that catered to us was awesome and made our trip truly unforgettable. While the hotel does not offer nightlife or entertainment, we visited Coco Beach, which is about 25 minutes away, where there were several great restaurants and live musical entertainment. I highly recommend checking it out!

Our stay as very good. The staff was very friendly, and for the most part, very helpful. The bartenders were quick to serve you and most of the drinks were solid. There were a few instances where the servers didn't execute on requests--cooking the steak to customer preference, forgetting drink orders, delivering alcoholic beverages when virgin was requested. This last bit could just have been lost in translation. Aside from the above, the buffet style restaurant served up tasty and healthy options, even if some items got repetitive. The grounds are well kept and clean. No complaints there. The room was fine. We reserved the master suite, not knowing that the kitchen would not be stocked with any utensils, pots, or pans. This is an all-inclusive, so not a huge deal, but it would be nice if we'd been able to prep some food ourselves as a change of pace for breakfast or lunch. The TVs were not very functional. The remotes didn't seem to work with the sets. Fortunately we brought our own firestick, remote, and VPN access so we could wind down with our own shows. The air conditioning worked as intended so the temperature always felt good inside. If you're booking the suite for the benefit of the kitchen, consider booking one of the garden rooms instead. The suite wasn't worth the extra money for us. Overall we would come back just for the friendly staff. They really made us feel welcome, and it felt bitter sweet when we had to go home <3 Pura vida

this resort is perfect not overcrowded wothbonly 40 rooms wich makes it more personal. All.the rooms are prestine clean and have a view on the beach rgat is 2min walking distance with amazing sun set. the beach 3km long and feels.private. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant to exchange witth. The Gym is basic but perfect for a vacation training with a beach view. last but not least the food is perfect and abondent whit a different team everyday with unlimited betweek.meals snacks from the kitchen all.day long. The cafee was perfect every day especialy the espressos always.amazing. All and all this is the best all inclusive more connected to the nature i have ever been.was perfect to relax an not too far from the more booming beaches if thats what you're looking for. I suggest renting a car to visit ither towns in the area

The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the food. Unfortunately the facilities are not, as described in the ad, nor in the customer comments, the rooms are from a lower quality hotel, the same as the pools, if it were not for the staff who work there they would have closed a long time ago.

What stands out about this resort is the comfort of the rooms and the serving staff. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff are very attentive. These two main points offset the downsides to this resort. The plumbing is terrible. The toilet needed maintenance and, if not messed with every single time it’s used, it would continue to flush. We were lucky if the showers had any hot water, luke warm at BEST. 50% of the time there wasn’t enough pressure to properly shower and a couple times it was at a dribble. Front desk staff gave impression rooms may be ready early, but they purposely kept a pile of check-in papers for cleaned and ready rooms until 3pm, even though they were ready earlier (we arrived before 7am and had to sit around, waiting all morning and afternoon for a room). Instructions for resort were given in Spanish, even though they knew we were English speaking. Many things were not explained to us when checking in (free use of kayaks, refill areas for filtered water, maintenance being done on roof). The food is great, though the temp control could be better managed (one of us got severe food poisoning). Compared to other similar beachfront resorts in C.R., it’s laid-back, beautiful tree covered areas & smaller. It didn’t have live entertainment and one of the bars & more upscale restaurant are both closed even though advertised. Summary: serving staff made up for what was lacking, but this resort could use some major maintenance upgrades & entertainment.

We had a great family vacation here! The rooms are nice, food is excellent and location is perfect. Great beach just steps away and the pool was very nice. I would stay here again and recommend to others. Big shout out to Emanuel (Manny) at the Pool Bar. He was super helpful and great to talk with!

A really cool and chilled place without too much noise and crowds to destroy your good vacation

We had no water 3’times while taking shower- very stressful. They mention a problem that lasted 3 days of our stay. We were offered early check , however it was not possible at last moment. We have to wait approximately 2 hours until we got the master suite. Even though staff was nice, I will not recommend the hotel to friends and family. Definitely there are better choices hotels in the area.

Many of the rooms on this property have zero view of the garden/ocean. We were a big group and booked 4 rooms with each of us paying for a garden view. Two of the rooms we were alloted had no view. Ours faced the parking lot and one of the other room had their balcony facing another balcony. They should not be advertising these rooms as garden view. Its false advertising and misleading.

The property was beautiful and well kept. The beach views are spectacular. The entire staff from the front desk, wait staff, bartenders, cleaning crew, were all so welcoming, helpful and truly nice people. The resort is very peaceful and not overcrowded. The food and drinks were great. Our room was very clean and kept that way by maid service. Our family had a great time and can’t wait to go back
