Great location, deluxe rooms are big and mod with some views of lovely river, great roof top bar terrace with fine views. Down side are thin but soft enough mattresses typical of Spanish hotels and cloying air “freshener” smells that seem to dominate the lobby and cafes of Silken hotels in Leon and a bit less Burgos. Parking situation is convenient and safe and fairly priced

Restaurantzeiten waren etwas unglücklich. Abends geschlossen. Die Zufahrt in die Tiefgarage - wirklich nur gute Autofahrer - es geht 2 Stockwerke tief nur im Kreis - one way - und unten ist es mega eng zu rangieren, hatte Jeep Compass. Wer oben irgendwo parken kann, erspart sich sehr viel Stress. Lage gut. Frühstück nicht herausragend, aber insgesamt gut. Aussicht geht so. Klimaanlage gut.

Buena atención, excelente ubicación, alimentos de calidad. Estacionamiento muy caro y nada accesible p estacionarse. No apto para auto grande o SUV. No había agua caliente y la regadera en malas condiciones.

Good breakfast lots of choice, hot and cold. Clean and good size room, comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Only stayed one night while passing through to a ferry. Underground car park was useful if a little tight in places (long cars may struggle, but our SUV was OK)). They apparently have 42 spaces but when I asked to use the car parking when booking months before arriving, they said they could not reserve a space. This would be understandable if they had many fewer spaces but with so many apparently available, a different response might have been better. There is a one car space outside of reception, limited to 10 minutes, in which to unload. It is in a one way street just by a traffic light and only a three meters past the car park entrance which means another trip around the one way system to get into the parking entrance. Unfortunate positioning.

Reception staff when I arrived took about five or six minutes to make eye contact even though she appeared to be just looking at a screen. The room was incredibly disappointing for the money we paid. The design was quite poor with very limited space to move around. To get from the left side of the bed to the bathroom, you had to dodge the frame of the bed as it was bigger than the mattress but because the wall was so close to the bed, you had to walk sideways! A similar situation in the bathroom where when you stepped out of the shower, you were practically on top of the toilet. This is my opinion is most definitely not a four star hotel. We were asked, after submitting an initial survey if we’d like to change rooms but at that stage we had only one night left. Breakfast wasn’t included in the (over) priced rate so can’t comment on their services in that regard. Having travelled all over Spain this hotel was one of the most disappointing for the price paid. I won’t be returning when I next visit the beautiful city of Burgos…

Tuve una mala experiencia debido al humo de cigarrillo que entraba por los ductos de ventilación de mi habitación, proveniente de alguna habitación vecina. Luego de quejarme por segunda vez, en la recepción muy amablemente me cambiaron de piso. A las pocas horas, algún vecino del otro piso también comenzó a fumar, por más que está prohibido. No vi que el hotel tomara seriamente el tema. El olor invadía los pasillos. NO recomiendo este hotel para NO-FUMADORES. Yo con bastante certeza no volveré. Dicho todo esto, es un bonito hotel y la ubicación es excelente, y tienen un espacio cerrado para guardar una bicicleta. El personal es muy amable y atento.

Excelente hotel, muy bien ubicado y limpio; el desayuno poco limitado con relación a otros hoteles que hemos usado durante nuestro viaje.

My stay would have been excellent if it were not for no a/c in the hotel during the month of April. It required me to open the window for air circulation, which was also a mistake cause there was a loud banging noise in the courtyard every 10-15 seconds that keeps you up the entire night. Just turn the a/c on and not run the heater for the entire hotel!

On booking I outlined that the trip was to celebrate our anniversary. I booked a non smoking club room on a higher floor What we got was a disability room that smelt of odour or smoke with curtains hanging of their hooks, a seat that had multiple cigarette burns And some stains on the toilet seat. We pointed this out at reception and they sent up cleaning staff who sprayed the curtains and room with air freshner and left. We left to go sightseeing for a couple of hours and then returned to a still quite smelly room. I agai went to reception and complained to a women with purple hair who spoke to me in a very uninterested ambient manner saying you booked a basic room what else do you expect I replied saying that my booking was for a club room and my expectation was for clean one free of tissue I mentioned. She then said I got a high room and there was nothing she could do.
