Room was clean. Recyclable garbage can was full of bottles and cans.

Staff was not friendly. Then they charged my credit card for the full room after I already paid in advance. Then I was informed I have to pay $75 for having a pet. This was never mentioned when booking the room.

Location was good. But still a few miles away from the historic district and the capital. It’s quiet and right down the road from restaurants.

I had an incredible stay at Residence Inn Marriott Dover! The highlights for me were the cozy fireplace, the relaxing hot tub, and the beautiful pool — all perfect for unwinding. This hotel provides a great space for a family to stay. Each room has an apartment feel to it. However, the rooms could be cleaner. The bathroom specifically needed to be swept and mopped and the sink and counter needed a cleansing as well.
