Nice hotel

Staff very friendly. Hotel spotless

We absolutely loved this hotel. Its is a 5-10 minute walk from Saronno station which takes you directly into central Milan. The hotel is beautiful, very clean however the restaurant was not amazing in my opinion. That may just be me being picky however they didn’t do any pasta just pizzas and some meats. There are a few nice places in Saronno to eat, we visited in early March and it was very quiet. The breakfast was so lovely! Lots of different breads, a toaster, a variety of fruits, pastries, juices, meats, cheeses and hot sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. Lots of different types of yoghurt, and sweet treats! The pool was so lovely, nice and warm, on the top floor however the sauna and the steam was not working but this may have been due to the season. I really cannot praise this hotel enough, the staff are wonderful and the bar is great! Cocktails for €10 and snacks such as toasties for cheap also! I would definitely visit again!

Clean room

I stayed at Stathotels Grand Milan for the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games 2026. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre and was an ideal location because there is a train station near to the hotel with good transport links. After a long day of sightseeing and attending Olympic Games events, it was nice to come back to the hotel and relax in there beautiful spa and rooftop swimming pool. The hotel also has a gym, sauna and steam room. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast and the staff are courteous and always willing to help. Outstanding experience!

Lovely hotel in a lovely little town with close easy train connections to Milan and northern Italy. Great staff, rooms and breakfast. Saronno itself a very pleasant short break destination, with a range of cafés and restraunts, hope to repeat the experience.

Schöne Zimmer, gute Lage

Há estadias que marcam e esta é uma delas, pela positiva. Super recomendo. Ótima localização para quem quer visitar tanto Milão, como Lago Como, Lombardia e até Suíça (Lugano). O hotel tem um ótimo restaurante e bar com bons preços e excelente comida, com serviço de quarto disponível. Recomendo as pizzas e a massa com castanha. O hotel também dispõe de uma piscina coberta (excelente para estadias nos dias mais frios) com jacuzzi, sauna, banho turco e ginásio. O uso de touca na piscina é obrigatória, levem consigo na bagagem ou podem adquirir na recepção (porém tem o custo de 5 euros cada). O hotel também dispõe de parque de estacionamento gratuito limitado no exterior ou parque coberto pagante. A zona é calma, tem um supermercado Aldi do outro lado da rua e um Mc’donalds a 6 minutos de carro. Os funcionários são excelentes, muito simpáticos. Em relação aos quartos, o nosso era uma suite, espaçosa, moderna e limpa. A limpeza diária tem um custo adicional de 4 euros mas gostei muito do trabalho das senhoras da limpeza. No quarto tem disponível roupão e chinelos para uso.

Camera enorme e molto lussosa

If you travel in business and need some space during a long stay this is great. The pool area and sauna feels very dated, crowded and not very fresh. The breakfast was good, the restaurant is not worth it. Pizza in the room from across the street is better.

La stanza che mi avevano assegnato aveva uno sgradevolissimo odere di fumo, ho chiamato subito la reception hanno subito provveduto al cambio stanza. La stanza ha bisogno di manutenzione, un giorno intero senza fare pulizia il personale gentilissimo ed accorto è sempre un piacere cmq andare allo star hotel ti senti a casa
