The location of the hotel is perfect, it’s pretty close to the museums and downtown. The hotel staff are great employees that go above and beyond to help you. The restaurant food is amazing and the service is excellent.

This is a very impressive hotel. Very traditional Mexicano. A lot of comfortable outside common areas. A terrace with outstanding views of guanajuato. No a/c. But, comfortable. Had 2 rooms, a family room with 2 separate bedrooms. And a master suite with 1 king. Both were beautiful. I would have liked a miniature refrigerator. Otherwise perfect

The hotel is well located, and it was well kept and cleaned. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was happy to have a fan in the room since it was very warm there. Even having all the windows open there is not much air circulation there. Thankfully the fan was tall, turned side to side and cooled the room. With the cooler and quiet room I was able to sleep well.

We love everything about our visit. Very Kind staff and very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great hotel staff was the best. Great location. I gave 4 stars and not 5 on hotel because no AC and it was hot and rom had a funky smell. Breakfast was great and staff excellent

El personal es muy amable, nos ayudaron a reservar todos los tours qué hicimos. El restaurante muy bien y me ayudaron con alimentos especiales que necesito por un tema de salud. La ubicación es muy buena. Sin duda regresaría a este hotel

The hotel is so beautiful and walking distance to everything, they offer you the callejoneada please take that you are not going to regret it, Guanajuato is my state and we enjoy our visit, everyone was so helpful, I call the day day before to ask some questions and they help me a lot, we are going to come back to el meson de Los Poetas, the food was so good, my aunt recommended to me and we are going to do the same!!!

This hotel is in an area where you can have access to almost anything close by. Built in the 1700-1800s and most definitely restored is very captivating. I love antiques and so i fell in love. No air conditioning, but a fan is provided. However, with the windows open and the breeze coming in, a fan suffices. Staff was very nice and attentive upon arrival. The hotel is kept clean. The only reason I gave this hotel a 3 star is because sadly there was an unfortunate incident at breakfast in my fiancés food, which caused some discomfort on his tooth and I wasn’t able to eat there anymore just thinking about it. The server could not have been more disappointed with his staff and very apologetic. He could not stop apologizing until our last day… to that sincere man, my respect! The hotel front desk staff however, did nothing. No apologies, No concern, Nothing! The breakfast was paid separately by the way. That was quite disappointing. Overall, it was nice.
