Great location and friendly staff. Just couple mins walk to the coast and beaches. The furiture is old yet the room is tidy, spacious, well maintained.

It's a beautiful hotel indeed, with a lot to offer: a historical embience, elegant decor, spacious rooms, convenient location (both Duomo & Fontana di Diana are within a 10-min walk), simple yet adequate breakfast.... But all these good qualities are offset by a lack of maintenance of its facilities (shower head that seems like breaking down and keeps leaking water from its handle, air conditioner that shuts itself down within 30 mins of operation...) . Service-wise the front desk is only manned for limited hours a day and you won't be able to seek help or advice outside these hours. I reported the facility defects to the front desk staff but at the end of my 4-day stay, they were not fixed. All in all, a mediocre stay that should have been great. Full potential wasted!

The hotel has an excellent location in the city - near the shore - and also near to many restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and clean. The area leading to our room was very pretty with colorful flowers nearby.

Property is located in the old town of Ortigia, just a block from the sea, and very walkable through the maze of narrow streets and alleys. It was fun to discover shops and restaurants. The building is very historic—part of the old Jewish section of the town, with ancient baths underground. Our hosts were very friendly and fully bi-lingual. The room was a bit dated, but very tastefully decorated. There is a very elegant courtyard for common use just below our 2nd story walk up. The continental breakfast was good, not exceptional. We enjoyed our stay very much.

For check-in we had to write a whatsapp text to find someone. In reply not even a “good morning”, “welcome”,.. then this person on the phone just said someone was at the reception when no one was and hence shared a phone number. Room was dark and unwelcoming but that’s ok. The cleaning was not done, after walking 5min in the room my sockets turned completely white, the towels in the bathroom were stained, the bathroom aspiration was completely disgusting, the shower was dirty and there was nothing to hold the soap (one very small soap was provided) in the shower. Camping experience would have been much better. Paint everywhere is missing, shower is falling appart. There is so much to say. When leaving we wanted to let the hotel know but did not even said anything since a nice couple tried just before us and the lady at the reception said it was not accurate and bathroom were renovated 2 weeks ago which is obviously a lie

Muy bonito el edificio en el que está situado el hotel, pero no sabíamos que el apartamento estaba en un edificio cercano, que aunque también era precioso no estaba preparado para hacer uso del patio porque las mesas y sillas estaban sucias, in preparar. Los muebles como sacados de diferentes sitios sin mucha coordinación. La cama muy riit. dosa

I loved this hotel. Stairs are not my friend and even though there is no elevator they had a ground floor apt for me. The people are lovely. I would stay here again. It’s an historic building and area thoughtfully cared for which speaks to my heart.

This hotel had a truly lovely location, very close to the water and the old town area that was so charming. We loved the building itself, and the decor in the common breakfast area was beautiful. Our actual room, however, was much less inviting. We had a queen bed, which was just two twin beds pushed together, and the interior was really bare. I like minimalist decor, but this was just kind of depressing. Good lighting maybe could have improved the ambiance, but the lighting was atrocious across the board. Insanely bright, bare bulbs hung from the ceiling, and the tiny, cheap lamps all blasted bright white light. All of the windows faced enclosed terraces, so natural light wasn’t much to speak of. It’s a shame because, the building itself was beautiful, and with a little thought, the atmosphere of the place could really be amazing. They also had small inconveniences that added up…the towel warmer didn’t work, the toilet seat was not fitted on the toilet properly, the shower door seemed to be missing part of it, they had a kitchenette with no soap, sponge, or coffee cups. I hope the management puts a little bit of effort and thought into improving this place because it really has such great potential.

The apartment was very large, and had multiple rooms.

Property is incredible old building. Very spacious. Kitchen not very well stocked. Bed not comfortable was the main issue. Otherwise would be 5 star.

We loved the history of the building, it was beautiful. Spacious rooms with outside sitting area. Walkable to all areas of interest in Ortigia and cafes and restaurants. Staff were helpful.

We had a lovely room here and the decor was great. The hotel staff were friendly and the communication we had with them prior to check in was clear and helpful. The location was central, so easy walking distance to attractions. Definitely recommend.

The property is well located. However, the amenities are limited. Isabella, one of the employees, was very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff, in my experience, were rude.

Really enjoyed the stay and the area. The property is a bit of an odd lay out but our room was lovely. Visit the baths downstairs.

Alla Giudecca se situe dans une jolie ruelle sur l’île d’Ortigia. L’influence orientale du lieu donne une impression de parenthèse magique aux accents des milles et une nuit. La chambre est très spacieuse, dispose de tout le nécessaire mais le confort est un peu en-dessous de ce à quoi on pourrait s’attendre. Le lit grince, le linge de lit sentait l’humidité (sûrement lié aux murs en pierre qui rendent difficile le séchage) et la chambre manque globalement de cœur.

We cannot recommend staying at this hotel. In fact, we didn't even stay and chose to book elsewhere after check in. The photos in the listing are in no way comparable to the actual rooms. The furnishings were worn down, uncomfortable and not well kept. The bathroom had visible mold and was extremely old, not in a charming way. There is no AC in the bedrooms either. The clerk was not particularly welcoming or accommodating. There are many other hotels in the area, choose a different one.

Tunnelmallinen hotelli loistavalla sijainnilla. Rakennus kuin olisi museossa asunut hyvässä mielessä. Huoneessamme oli kaksi kerrosta ja aivan upea kattoterassi näkymineen kaupungin ylle. Merikin näkyi ja näkyy osaan huoneista. Palvelu oli avuliasta ja saimme varaustammekin muutettua helposti kun olin varannut väärät päivät erehdyksessä. Aamupalahuone myös todella mukava ja aamupala oli oikein riittävä.
