I left a belonging and I emailed to get it returned and I received no reply.

沙发床太单薄了，还好是孩子睡。淋浴头接口漏水。沐浴液瓶都是散开的，没有洗手液。赶上英国假期，人太多，餐厅爆满，没啥服务。外部环境还不错，离温莎城堡也比较近。

The room was clean and perfectly suited for an overnight stop with two young children. The room was very warm, despite provision of a fan. The use of the pool was excellent and the bar restaurant was great for a drink and food in the evening.

We didnt stay here for long as we had a very early start so no time for breakfast, but the bedroom was clean and a very comfortable bed. We had a lovely view of the gardens too. The freshly cooked pizza was excellent and all staff were happy and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We booked a stay at the hotel following a trip to Lego Land with our two children. We have stayed at the hotel previously without any issues however this time was different. There was a wedding and a staff party on during our stay which we weren’t made aware of when booking. The volume of the karaoke/music was unbearable and could be heard all over the hotel. Due to the hot weather we were unable to close the windows due to there being no air conditioning. After two hours of being there we decided to check out as we were unable to relax. From the reaction of the staff on the front desk it was clear we weren’t the only ones to complain that night.

The food and drinks selection for breakfast were amazing. Very child friendly.

Lovely stay room was clean, spacious and modern. Staff so helpful. Only down side was that only suites have air con but no other rooms do meaning it was extremely uncomfortable. Beds were so comfortable just the heat.

Beautiful historic building but not suited for the handicapped. I requested a room on the ground floor and a walk-in shower because my husband walks with a cane. We got a room that we had to walk about 10 minutes and climb 17 steps to get to it. The tub was the highest I have seen. No room service. No A/C.

Room was clean, no aircon at 33C but had a fan and surprisingly was ok to sleep at night with the window open. Breakfast and dinner was plentiful.

No air con in the middle of a heatwave = no thank you! 4*... Really?

No AC and windows would not open more than 2 inches. Dusty fan provided in room. Difficult to sleep in 30c weather. I know it is an old hotel but given the warmer summers they need to think about this for the future. Would be a 5 out of 5 probably 11 months of the year.

Struggled to find where food was being served in the evening sent to 2 wrong places before finding it. Wanted to charge for a jug of tap water

Stayed on site for a wedding. The wedding suites were good and well maintained. The actual accommodation was not great. Very basic rooms and lack of air con was a serious deficiency. When we are experiencing hot weather (as now), the one electric fan provided in a family room is not really sufficient. Breakfast was okay but very crowded in the area. Teas and coffees only available on a machine. One of the two wasn’t working so large queues formed at the one machine that was working. Not a great experience.

It was a bit like a souped up travelodge. Didn't look inviting from outside. No ac There is a very large number of rooms so it to a while to find mine Room was clean though. Buffet breakfast is ok

WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN A WHILE - NO EFFORT TO RESOLVE MY COMPLAINT (DON’T STAY HERE!!!) I appreciate your comments regarding the location of your room. As a large estate with accommodation spread across several wings, some rooms are situated further from the main facilities than others. I am also sorry to hear that you found the room uncomfortably warm and that you were disturbed by noise from a delivery vehicle early the following morning. I was particularly concerned to read your comments regarding the silverfish you noticed in the bathroom. Whilst silverfish are not harmful, their presence is certainly not something we expect our guests to encounter. I have shared your feedback with our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams so that the room can be thoroughly inspected and treated if necessary. Having reviewed your booking, I can see that you chose to depart a day earlier than originally planned. Whilst I appreciate your disappointment, I am afraid we will not be offering compensation or a refund for the unused night on this occasion. I have a health issue where my body breaks down food incorrectly causing body odour. I found on the last day of my stay the hot water to my room had been turned off. I believe this to have been done on purpose by the hotel, hotels will always notify tennants of issues like this and aologise. I work fixing instruments in hospitals to save lives globally. I would prefer to not be forced into a cold shower by hotels who discriminate.
