Helpful and polite staff.. Great view of fireworks

Well… Let me begin with the positives. Rooftop pool was nice, especially for viewing fireworks (4th of July). Conveniently located across the street from River Street (2 minutes). Bed was comfortable, sheets and pillows SMELLED clean. PLEASE NOTE: Some of what I am about to share may be “preferences” so feel free to take it or leave it. When we arrived, the first room had spots on the carpet and the shower door didn’t seal well. I immediately requested another room. The shower door sealed better but ALSO had spots on the carpet. Then the sink in the bathroom had a rust stain dripping down the side. I used a Lysol wipe and cleaned it. One of the face towels had a reddish stain on it 😳 During our stay, the AC was broken on the top floor, so the gym facilities were not available. They offered to go across the street to the Hampton Inn…not convenient 😞 Housekeeping service was provided every OTHER day and they didn’t empty all trash cans. Consider your room location. Ice maker was loud throughout the night. Our room had a huge wall with a lone window in the corner. Not much light comes into the room. TV channels were basic. Parking is $48 a day. Breakfast was ok. It wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but I would not be in a hurry to stay again.

Excellent location for walking thru the Historic district. Staff was super friendly; nice bonus to have a concierge service. Room was clean and perfect for us.

We arrived early after not getting much sleep and the front desk clerk worked with us and gave us a different room so we could get some much needed rest after no sleep and a stressful morning.

Took advantage of the optional valet parking and everything I wanted to experience while there was within walking distance. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly.

My daughter and I had a fabulous stay. It is in the heart of the north historic district and enables you to enjoy all of the many wonderful things to do in the area. If you have children this is a great place to visit with them. They have a fantastic pool on the roof with amazing views. My daughter is 13 and she loved this hotel because they are so family friendly. Their staff is exemplary. We really enjoyed being able to walk to every area and due to its key location the hotel was simple to find. It was lovely, This hotel is a gem and we can’t wait to return again soon!

Excellent location.

It is conveniently located within walking distance of River Street. The room was clean and our view was perfect for watching the ships going up and down the river. Loved the roof top pool. The one thing they should really think about changing is the automatic coffee vending machine. What? Why? Bring back coffee decanters! No one wants to wait in line for coffee to be made one cup at a time.

Awesome location. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Actual room looked dingy, brown spots on ceiling and wall, dirty carpet and broken floor pieces in bathroom.
