We had a very mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the rooms are nice, well maintained, and clean, and the drinks are good.
Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives. There is no usable beach and no access to the ocean at all, so all guests are forced to use the pool area. The problem is that there are nowhere near enough sunbeds for the number of guests staying at the hotel.
Even when we woke up early (around 9 a.m.), there were no available beds. Instead of fixing this issue, the hotel sells a limited number of sunbeds for an extra fee, which is unacceptable for an all-inclusive resort. Initially, we were told the price was $50 per bed, but because it was January 1st, they suddenly tried to charge $150 per bed. After wasting almost an hour of our time, they finally agreed to sell it for $50 — and even then, the beds were oversold.
The entire process was disorganized, stressful, and poorly managed. Staff simply say the hotel is fully booked and apologize, but that’s not a solution. If the hotel is full and has taken guests’ money, it should be able to provide basic services like seating by the pool. Otherwise, what is the point of an all-inclusive resort?
Because of the lack of beach access, constant stress over sunbeds, and overall poor organization, we would not return. There are many better hotels that provide a far more relaxed and properly managed experience
