Bathroom was not clean. Hair was all over the place

Friendly Staff, but room not fit for purpose, TV broken screen, shower pointless unless you want a cold shower, no pressure on warm/hot, restaurant had stopped serving when I arrived at 8:20pm, lights flickering, plug socket dubious and buzzing, room tired and dated, needs investment it rooms, I stay in around 40 different hotels annually and I can quite honestly say this was one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in, and it takes a lot for me to complain, but it’s sub standard for sure.

Room and hotel in general needs a big update. Paint peeling, bathroom door didn’t open properly, generally felt tired and uncared for, dusty and dirty. On the plus side the bed was comfortable but that’s about it! Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

Rooms tired and dirty

first room (14 ) was bit dirty and there was a really noisy religious conference going on underneath the room for 3 hours. I eventually asked to be moved and was met with response that nobody else has ever complained before. Got moved to room 51 which was quieter but was really dirty, it hadn't been vacuumed well in years, had mouldy black areas all over the shower & bathroom generally, had a weird smell and had no lamps by the bed. seemed like a really tired run down place and i'm never going back again!

The staff were all friendly,inviting and hard working, the room was basic but perfect for us, comfy bed,was warm and adequate for our needs. The evening meal was lovely as was the breakfast and reasonably priced. If your one of those snobs who run fingers along skirting boards or delve into the various crevices in bathrooms then don't stay but if your like us ...enjoy a nice warm comfortable room, happy staff and excellent food then the regent is perfect for you. Definitely will stay again

To be fair the staff were friendly and the hotel was good, but I've been charged for a breakfast that i I didn't have or order, so i probably wouldn't use it again 👎

Staff polite and respectful checked if I need anything. Issue with drainage from bathroom basin but pleasant stay and would use again.

Dirty bathroom! And security man was asleep when I came downstairs in the morning around 7:30 and the door was wedged open.so anybody could of came in

Not the bestest sort I’ve stayed in when in the bathroom found a pill on the floor just some random pill don’t know who it was so obviously the room is not being clean. The toilet is downstairs didn’t have any hand wash and toilet tissue just chucked all over the floor. Very limited parking, which is a nightmare to say the least.

Good location with very good service from the staff

One night stay. Friendly staff. The room and corridors were a bit tired. Damp in the bathroom and peeling paint. I slept well but but expected better quality for the price.

A comfortable stay overall. The room was a little tired and the room doors don’t keep sound out, which might be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. Service was very friendly. Food prices were shockingly high… £17.50 for a club sandwich is what I’d expect to pay at a 4-5* in London. The Salutation across the road is a much better choice for food. If you just need a comfy bed for the night then it’s still a decent choice.

Rooms were basic and somewhat presentable but tired and warn. Night porter was so rude. And everything was so expensive. Probably would look else where in future. I wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel was great, the breakfast brilliant, the TV in our room had very bad reception and was unwatchable unfortunately. The staff were all very pleasant.

Stayed over again to catch a local band. Excellent service and a really good breakfast. Recommend this hotel.
