The staff here were excellent. My husband has mobility problems and I left him in reception to take our bags to the room, intending to go back. I came out of our room and my husband was there had been helped and escorted by a member of staff. I should have taken his name but I forgot.

TV was not working, Prince fixed but was still unable to tune in to BBC 1 and several other channels. Very helpful, and happy staff - always ready with a smile. Thank you

Lovely hotel in nice location not far from a river and village.

Clean room, great breakfast but no air conditioning, only a small fan that was very noisy.

Our room had no air conditioning and was above the kitchen, which made us both noisy and uncomfortably hot. The children really struggled to sleep, which meant no sleep for us either. Staff were nice and the room was clean but if only stay again in the winter months.

Friendly staff, clean room, convenient location. Plenty of parking and catered for gluten free.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, have only given 4 stars overall due to early morning noise between 6 and 7.30 from guests staying above.

Great value hotel with excellent free breakfast. Rooms could do with a little updating.

Check-in good, room clean, bed comfey, bathroom shower a reasonable size. I appreciate the included parking and decent breakfast from 0600. Dinner opened at 1800 but tap beer not available for another hour and food on the menu we requested not available so walked 10min down the road to another place for dinner.

Accessible room was perfect. I chose not to have breakfast so not able to comment on breakfast or bar area, because fir my visit I was visiting family and had lots of activities planned with them. Room was clean and the walk in shower in the accessible room so much better than trying to climb into lowered bath to have a shower.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. I like the fact that the accessible rooms have a walk in shower opposed to climbing into a lowered bath, which some similar priced hotels nearby have. The location is convenient to where my family live, and away from the city centre, but adjacent to the showground, so depending upon which activities people wish to access, may impact customers choosing this venue.

Was a good stay

Excellent value for money. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and everything felt very modern and fresh. A huge thanks to the friendly staff who made check-in and out so easy and were always happy to help. The complimentary breakfast was also great—plenty of hot and cold choices and a perfect way to start the day. I’d definitely stay here again.

We attended Peterborough Crematorium and this Holiday Inn Express offered great location and value for money for a one night stay. We got a lovely warm welcome upon our arrival and was given lots of useful information regarding our stay during check in.
