We were very impressed with the room and facilities. Comfortable and clean. Lovely little touches from quilted rain coats to fresh milk in the fridge and even complementary larger in the fridge in our room. Also a super selection of coffee pods and tea for our use which added a bit of luxury to our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and personally showed us to our room. Breakfast was excellent as was our evening meal. Highly recommended

Wonderful friendly staff, great location, beautiful room. Great food. Was very noisy late at night though after bar downstairs had shut, perhaps staff cleaning, but really loud banging past midnight.

Great pub hotel right by the harbour and coast path. Some of the rooms are a bit small but they are well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

The room was clean in excellent condition with a spacious bathroom. There was a mini bar with some free drinks and some payable. We had a sea view and it was very quiet. The restaurant was amazing food and the free breakfast was also amazing. Would love to come back at some point. Would re ommend this for a trip to the Eden Project and we even went out on a fast boat ride with Seafari and had a trip to the Austell Brewery.

The shower was tiny and the room doors slammed shut. Staff were really nice. Menu choice could be wider. Bed really comfortable. Too many steps up to room and so many doors. Great location close to the sea. Excellent breakfast.

Staff and rooms were excellent - only disappointment for me was no alternative pillows- they were feather filled and to soft for me I prefer a firmer one - also a lot of building work going off nearby which isnt anything to do with the pier house but consequently it looks very untidy and denies access to the pier itself !

Very noisy building, heavy footsteps/snoring/showers all audible. Front of house couldn't/wouldn't move our room. Bar next door had blaring music all day and to 11pm. Food not the best. Breakfast service slow even though there was only another table being served.

Amazing stay at the Pier House! Staff were so kind and attentive. Rooms brand new - spacious and comfortable. Right on the beach, coastal walk. And restaurant delightful - generous portions of wonderful local foods and great wine. Lively scene indoors and out, yet peaceful and quiet up in room. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.
