Superb hosts and lovely property located ten minutes' walk up a hill from the main beach in Torquay. Two upstairs rear bedrooms have a sea view, and the interior is wonderfully in keeping with the Victorian building. Double-glazed windows and own pool a bonus. Made to feel extremely welcome and would have no hesitation in returning.

Julia & Jamie were the perfect hosts. Friendly & helpful. The accommodation is really clean and well maintained. Cooked breakfast was always nice and hot with a plentiful supply of fruit, pastries and cereals available. The pool/patio area looks a lovely place to relax and the pool looks really inviting. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

My little boy (7) and I have just come back from a wonderful half term week at The Cimon & I could not recommend it enough. A quick stroll to the beach, offering plenty of eateries, with options for all. The pool was an absolute god send as the weather was just perfect. Julia & Jamie were so lovely & helpful offering lots of ideas in and around Torquay. We will definitely return.

What a fantastic hotel , we stayed in the room with a balcony with a brilliant view. This hotel comes with an outside heated swimming pool towels provide and planty of outside sitting to enjoy the sun . free parking , a slow 10 minute stroll to the sea front Breakfast was very nice and the hosts was very friendly and welcoming .would definitely recommend this beautiful place

Fabulous little hotel within perfect walking distance to the harbour/marina. Fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Great breakfast in the morning, the local bacon and sausages were DELICIOUS!! Spacious free car park too. Really pleased we found this place, believe all the reviews! Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Torquay ❤️

What a fantastic place. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. We were lucky to be upgraded to a sea view and what a beautiful view it was. Breakfast was very good. We shall definitely stay here again when next in Torquay. 😀

A lovely clean small hotel with very friendly and helpful hosts

Property owner Julia was excellent, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a balcony room which gave us extra space during our stay. Balcony is small but adequate for 2 people to sit out and enjoy the sea view and fresh air. Bed was comfortable. Property is very clean and well presented. Lovely outdoor pool and garden area.

The Cimon was exactly as you see in the pictures. Stylish clean rooms with a fantastic sea view. The pool not only looked amazing with a tropical vibe to rival any foreign get away, it was amazing and warm! The weather just made it perfect. Our hosts were attentive, informative and very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend and will book again 100%

A very warm and friendly hotel. Everyone is super friendly. The room is nice and big. The breakfast was excellent. We didn’t have the chance to use the heated swimming pool but seemed lovely.

Easy check in, host was great. We had a good night sleep, no outside noise and the pool was great. Really close bars and restaurants. Would stay again.

What a gem of a place to stay! We will definitely return! A very warm welcome, great, free parking, comfy room, wonderful pool & poolside area and a lovely breakfast.. we will look forward to returning. Julia & Jamie just cannot do enough for their guests..!

I was at The Cimon for a brief stay but would highly recommend it. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. The room was spotless clean and well equipped with a very comfort bed and nice linens. The breakfast the following morning was first class!
