The only Mandatory fees （65$ a night) not mention and when I ask any chargeable activities. They said only a leaflet will show. Suggest must mention to guests when check-in. To avoid any arguments.

On Sep 12th, at around 11:30 AM, In the outdoor swimming pool, my son saw a snake in the pool, very scary for my son, also no any staff working around swimming pool. Very scary memories for my son, he said he couldn't want to swimming again.

The room facilities were acceptable, but they did not quite live up to the hotel’s reputation. One of the sinks was clogged when we checked in, although it was fixed upon request. The shower glass door would not close properly, causing water to splash out into the bathroom. Most of the staff were polite and friendly, which we appreciated. However, the housekeeping service needs improvement. Our room was not cleaned at all the second day, even after I reminded the staff. It was still not done two hours later, which was quite disappointing. I then called the front desk to request clean towels instead, and it took over 40 minutes for them to be delivered. Overall, the service level was not what we expected.

Room was exceptional however we were beside the laundry facility and it was noisy all night.

Everything was excellent, except for the unexpected $30 per night self-parking fee. I found this charge both surprising and unreasonable, given that the resort is located in a remote area where parking has historically been complimentary prior to November 2025. Imposing a parking fee in this context feels unjustified—comparable to charging guests extra to use basic in-room amenities such as the shower!

I had an amazing stay at Marriott Muskoka and couldn’t be happier with how well I was treated. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond — they were incredibly attentive and genuinely checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was going well. The spa was absolutely amazing and such a relaxing highlight of the trip. On top of that, the restaurants were excellent, with great food and service. Overall, the experience felt thoughtful, welcoming, and truly special. I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was ok. Just ok. Not at all worth the price.

There was a surprise parking charge of $30 / night. That is a completely ridiculous charge for parking. They had a large conference and couldn't control them at night. They were very loud outside in the main area until 2am. Not sure why no staff didn’t do anything about this. I got little sleep for two nights because of this. I have been going here for 15 years and this was the worse experience I have ever had. They wouldn't even waive the parking charges which were not listed on my expedia invoice.

I loved the staff, but for the huge hotel bill…I am quite disappointed with some of the details: My family and I have been staying at the JW Marriott for over 10 years- since it first opened. As usual, the staff was amazing- in fact better than ever. The location and luxurious setting as usual speaks positively for itself. However there were some serious issues this time which I think need to be addressed especially for such an expensive hotel. AMENITIES Of the 2 showers in the ladies change room in the swimming pool area- one was broken and didn’t work, the other never got hot. The same problem with some of the room showers- (we went with a large group- complaints all around). The hot tub was also not working some of the time… IMPORTANT-The icy steel handles leading into outdoor water facilities caused cuts and tears on our kids hands (my daughter’s hand tore open in several places and had to be professionally bandaged by the hotel medic)… this could have been prevented- and handles should have been wrapped in rubber… IN ROOM In room sofa bed (they knew we needed to use it) missing sheets, pillows, blankets The kitchen looks great… but no pots to cook with… PARKING: why charge for parking? We are not in the city… this is a large property with huge parking space and nothing around…. Surely for the huge hotel bill, parking should be included. I think the hotel needs some more attention paid to the details in order to justify charging such large resort fees.

Resort introduced a new $30/day self parking fee that they don’t disclose. Self parking was complimentary in our past stays.

We loved the view from our room. And the staff were all lovely. Very accommodating.
