Beautiful place to stay with everything on your doorstep. Staff so helpful an accommodating in every way. Breakfast is out of this world, especially for the price. Will be coming back again very soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room.

Great spot overlooking the water but hotel was a bit run down despite being very modern. Breakfast was great (buffet), nice walk outside room. Main hassle was room was super hot on arrival and you cannot open the windows very wide to cool it down. The air-conditioning did not work (even with windows closed), so after a major sweat we were eventually able to cool the room by using the random electric fan left in the room and opening the door to flush out the heat a little. Not ideal after a hard day out

Easy to book and helpful

Room was lovely, airy, so clean! Staff were so accommodating & helpful and cheerful! We had a lovely view of the lake from our room. Breakfast was lovely too!

Wow absolutely amazing hotel from the moment we arrived it was a great experience we love this hotel and the Penthouse Suite is out of this world. Couldn’t fault it at all.

The hotel is very well maintained, looks pretty good inside and the staff are very welcoming. The room was first class. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, first rate bathroom, all with a decent panoramic view. Everything we might hope for. Service in the restaurant was good, very attentive. Breakfast food would have been pretty good except that the hot food and drinks were all cold. But the lunch menu was disappointing, with heavy reliance on bread: sandwiches, toasties, pizza and burgers. The one "non bread" item was off the menu. That's the only caveat in a very pleasant stay. But we'd be happy to go back.

My grandson and I stayed 1 night at this hotel. Would recommend.

Fabulous room with a wonderfully comfortable bed.

Stayed in room 316, and the room was substandard. The shower was leaky, the air-con had a loud grunting sound, the wifi was absolutely terrible, and we had 2 nights of back to back fire alarms. I did raise the issue at the front desk during the stay, but no action was taken. Feels like I have wasted £500 for 3 nights stay.

Lovely place to stay with amazing views

Confusion over booking could have been handled better. Little empathy over my room issue before I had even turned up. On arrival given a scorching room, when rang reception told it is working and takes 20 minutes minimum. An hour later changed rooms as A/C not working! Warmest day of the year and hotel gets jet washed so noisy generator meant you couldn't get any peace on balcony. Also no no-smoking area so balcony reeled whilst paying over £7 a pint, didnt take cash, £15 parking.

Super hotel with fantastic location

Very nice large rooms withe everything you need and a great view. Drinks at the bar were fairly expensive, only downside.

Generally a very good stay, but we ended up cutting the trip short as the room was not clean (there was food debris under the bed, from previous guests, that my son reached and put into his mouth). We decided not to stay there for our 2nd night. In general, the hotel was in a good condition and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location next to some amusements, mini golf and a good children’s playground. We had dinner which was good food, and the buffet breakfast had a great selection and good quality. It would have been a 5* stay if not for the food debris under the bed. The rest of the room was clean and the middle of the day refresh had the room and bathroom tidy. The bath we had was an excellent size too. Plenty of room for me (5’11) to sit in comfortably.
