variety of breakfast . close to beach. clean carpet. pleasant overall . kids loved it

The room was cold with a small but capable electric radiator called upon to warm up a room with single-glazed windows. The breakfast was mostly store-bought items warmed up, except the toast and eggs and mushrooms which were nice. The orange juice was lower quality; another thought the coffee was instant. We got charged twice-- once through reserving with Hotels.com and the second time when they said they hadn't received payment. If it weren't for me going back to them with both receipts, we would have paid double.

We have stayed at the Wycliffe before & was quite happy with everything. This stay, the guest house has new owners who were pleasant enough. It appears they are upgrading the rooms. Ours looked refurbished . We were on the 2nd floor in quite a small room, bathroom was quite small. Beds were comfortable. Tea/coffee facilities, adequate. Breakfast was very nice & left a small review in their guest book. They are a few eateries in easy walking distance. Would recommend.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Die Toilette beziehungsweise die Dusche war noch kleiner. Die Größe des Bettes für zwei Personen für eine Nacht ausreichend waren vor zwei Jahren, war damals unter einer anderen Führung. Damals war alles sehr persönlich und wir hatten ein super breakfast. Das hatten wir diesmal nicht.

Nice place to stay overnight, when travelling to or from Europe. Although the place has been taken over 2 weeks ago, we were still allowed to put our motorcycles in the back garden, out of site

Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful.

Tried the shower this morning and couldn’t get any warm water. Bed was very comfortable 😴

We loved the friendly welcome from the host - Sharon. She goes above and beyond for all your needs. We also loved the comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Lovely guest hotel with a very friendly and helpful host. But the room having a very small toilet room next door is not ensuite, the toilet roll holder was a battle to get any toilet paper and the low ceilings meant several bumped heads. Breakfast was rather ordinary.

We found our stay at the WyCliffe Guest House to be extremely pleasant and comfortable. The manager and owner (I guess) was very nice and the breakfast was very good. We can highly recommend this accommodation and would book there again on our next visit to England.

Wir sind mit 3 Personen und drei Motorrädern angereist und wurden direkt bei der Ankunft persönlich äußert freundlich begrüßt - uns wurde angeboten die Motorräder in den Garten zu stellen, somit waren sie von der Straße nicht sichtbar und sicherer aufgehoben. Insgesamt sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

The property was easy to get to. Breakfast was good for the price. It's close to Folkestone Harbour. The only thing we didn't like is the parking is very limited.

Only stayed one night, but it was comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and good. My only slight disappointment was that the private bathroom was separate from the bedroom, but still reserved only for us. The Hotels.com website said separate 'bedroom', not bathroom. Only a minor matter, otherwise everything good.

Haven’t stayed in a guest house for a while: how refreshing, so much better than the stale old hotel chains, et al. Lovely attentive landlady, fabulous location near sea front, dog friendly, parking outside, bar available, just smashing. Good luck in keeping places like this going, loved it. T
