Great hotel in a great location. I couldnt falt it in any way. Great staff, great food, very clean and very friendly. I would definitely vist here again and recommend to family and friends. Wonderful holiday all round. 5 stars

Alphonso and his team were excellent. The rooms are a bit older but are very clean and functional. Convenient to everything in this small seaside town, including loading on boat tours to Amalfi, Positano and Capri right in front of the hotel. Food was excellent in their ocean front dining room. Highly recommend due to its quiet and tranquil environment while having ability to tour crowded towns of Amalfi and Positano. Beach was right in front of the hotel and towels and lounge chairs were included in the room cost, along with breakfast.

Comfortable beachfront hotel with a restaurant to be able to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The property has steps but not as many as you would find in other areas of the Amalfi Coast. They also include the beach chairs. Plus, they have a convenient Boat Tour stand at the property where you can book day trips to Capri, Positano and Amalfi.

I can write several pages how we enjoyed this place. The room was clean and warm enough as our visit was between Xmas and new year. The view was amazing as the hotel is few meters to the sea. The staff are very friendly and helpful that we felt being home. Top level breakfast with fresh stuff and sea view. The food in the restaurant was also amazing so we decided to go to the hotel restaurant for all the meals. Both indoor and outdoor atmosphere is amazing. Outdoor with sea view and indoor with fireplace. Overall, this was the highlight of our travel.

This is a fabulous place to stay! The family that owns and operates the property are friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food in their restaurant is locally sourced and deliciously prepared. We loved the slow pace which invited relaxation. The prices are very reasonable—we will be back!

Beautiful quaint hotel with lovely locals and staff

We loved this place! Initially we were surprised to learn how far Massa Lubrense is from Sorrento but then we were relieved upon arrival. It was far superior to the touristy overload of Sorrento. A lovely small coastal town with all you need right there. The hotel itself was perfect. Staff great. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice stay at La Certosa. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Nerano area is relatively quiet, a nice contrast to Amalfi, Positano etc.

Very wonderful marina and restaurants nearby. Not very friendly staff. Would recommend the town but not the hotel. Make sure you plan the boat excursion when you 1st arrive.

Попал в этот отель совершенно случайно,находясь в этом городке,так как все отели были заняты,увидел оценку в 8 баллов и повелся,деньги списали сразу за 6 дней и пришлось остаться в нем.(((Хамское обслуживание,полотенца не меняют,с недовольными лицами ходят,семейный подряд там,только море и собственный пляж с лежаками сгладил мой отдых,не советую

This location is perfect for families who want to visit the Amalfi coast and live in a low key area right on the beach. There are few hotels here but they are more like family run B&B's. La Certosa was great, Allessandro and Alfonso, both brothers run this place with family and they do a great job. Their service is excellent and they cater to each and every client. Location is on the beach, you get food at your beach chairs, great way to wind down and relax!! The town is 5 kms away, and it is right between Sorrento and Positano.We rented a small car, parked for free at Certosa private yard in a small alley way, we drove late afternoon and evenings to Sorrento and Positano. PERFECT!!

La struttura ha il vantaggio di essere vicino al mare.La spiaggia, costituita da grossi sassi, è antistante l'hotel, ma, purtroppo è impraticabile senza robuste scarpette ed è nella zona dell'unico pontile, dove approdavano e partivano un centinaio di barche al giorno per le gite nelle località circostanti. Si era quindi, a pochi metri, negli scarichi di tali barche e purtroppo anche in un mare infestato da meduse che ci ha costretto ad anticipare la partenza di tre notti su sette, essendo io allergico con grave pericolo per la mia salute. Nessuno sconto è stato praticato.Non esistendo alternative il parcheggio obbligato è molto caro.
