We have booked a three night stay here with Expedia. As we have found out when we arrived Hotel Astoria is closed. Expedia should have known that and not book us into a closed hotel.
I have booked the stay with Expedia, Expedia has taken the money from my credit card on August 11th. I expect a full refund and compensation for a night wasted on the phone in the street until past midnight talking to the Expedia customer support who did nothing to resolve the situation.
I have no email address to contact the Expedia customer support and thus my request to them is:
1. Immediate refund of the money that Expedia has taken.
2. A compensation for a lost night which we should have spent into a hotel room instead of talking to their support on the street.
We have evidence of the chat with the Expedia customer support.
Our reservation was starting on 4th of September. We waited for 2 hours until 23:55 for their staff to resolve the situation - during 2 hours they came up with no proposal, no solution, nothing but excuses. They should have booked us into another hotel instead of leaving us on the street to wait indefinitely.
