Grand Hôtel de l’Univers is a quaint, quintessentially Parisian hotel located in the heart of Saint-Germain. The location is excellent: you’re surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and cafés, and you’re within easy walking distance of Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city. The rooms are small—very Parisian—but clean, comfortable, and charming. Exactly what you’d expect in this neighborhood. The street itself is quiet, yet just steps away the area comes alive at night with late-night cafés, open shops, and a vibrant local atmosphere. There’s also a large city pharmacy just a couple of blocks away, which is especially helpful when you’re on the last leg of a trip. This hotel is a true three-star property. It doesn’t try to be anything more or less than that—and that’s its strength. Quaint, clean, well-located, and authentically Parisian. Highly recommended.

The staff helped me retreive my backpack that I left in the cab ride to the airport. They cakled the driver and got him to turn ariund and meet me to get it back. Very very helpful.

Perfect location. Friendly staff, always willing to help and provided umbrellas. Reasonable breakfast. The only thing we didn't see in the ad is that the standard room has "curtains" in the bathtub.

small hotel with great character. Right in the centre of St Germain, but extremely quiet at night. Everything needed was in the room, and beautiful decoration of the room. Highly recommended hotel.

Personalen var allt man kunde önska och lite till. Trevliga, bra tips, kunniga och väldigt hjälpsamma. Hotellrummet var bättre än väntat. Utsikt mot en mysig gata som ledde bort till en hörna med de mysigaste av restauranger. Väldigt charmigt och centralt område för en härlig tid i Paris.
