Very helpful staff

La Collegiata è una bellissima location,,vicinissima a San Gimignano ,inserita in un parco molto bello e ben curato arricchito da una bella piscina.Vista su San Gimignano spettacolare.La nostra camera e la colazione adeguate al prezzo

We had to book this hotel last minute due to issues with our villa. The staff were excellent and could not be more helpful, it was lovely to speak to them and also learn a bit more about the history of the building. They were aware of our situation and ready to help further if needed. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the breakfast (food, setting, service) was top notch. If you have the opportunity to stay here - definitely go for it!

Pure sanctuary for Tuscan relaxation with the most beautiful views. Everything about this place is wonderful, from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and well looked after.

Un lieu enchanteur, terni par un manque de discernement Je voyage seul et suis arrivé tard à l’hôtel, vers 18h. L’endroit est tout simplement sublime : les jardins, l’architecture, la vue… un véritable rêve toscan. En arrivant, le premier mot que j’ai prononcé à la réception, avant même de dire bonjour, a été « Wow ». Il faisait près de 40 degrés. Comme je fais un long road trip de trois semaines, j’avais choisi cet hôtel en partie pour sa piscine. Mon rythme est simple : repos l’après-midi, découverte des villages en soirée. J’ai donc demandé, très poliment, s’il était possible de payer pour un départ tardif afin de profiter un peu de la piscine le lendemain. La réponse fut un non catégorique. J’ai alors proposé, toujours aussi gentiment, de simplement pouvoir rester quelques heures au bord de la piscine, en offrant bien sûr de payer ce service. Nouveau refus net. Le lendemain matin, plusieurs chaises longues étaient inoccupées. Je comprends qu’il y ait des règles, mais un peu de jugement aurait suffi. Ce manque total de souplesse m’a laissé un goût amer. Quand la réceptionniste m’a accompagnée à la chambre, elle m’a dit : « Pour toute demande, n’hésitez pas à appeler la réception. » Phrase sans doute apprise par cœur… dommage qu’aucune des deux premières demandes n’ait été accueillie avec ouverture. Un cadre magnifique, mais une hospitalité rigide. Je ne me suis pas senti le bienvenu.

A very beautiful property and grounds. Pool area lovely. Limited food options and no prices on the drinks. Felt the staff could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming. We arrived slightly early and were told we could not use the facilities until our room has been assigned. Never had that before. Not terribly helpful on a hot day.

Beautiful property and friendly staff. We stayed here for 6 nights with our 3 month old. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great but the same options for 6 days got a little boring after some time. Also for food after hours you have to drive to town. One suggestion I would make is to add a coffee or tea maker in the room. It was advertised as the rooms have one but they don’t. A lot of early mornings I would have loved to enjoy some coffee/espresso on my balcony but did not have the option. And the Restaurant doesn’t open till 8am. Overall still great stay.

It was a memorable stay! The resort is quiet, clean, cozy and royal and historical. It was a monastery 500 years ago. The view from the gardens is stunning! The staff is very nice, friendly and professional! I would definitely go back in the future!

A beautiful setting within a beautiful city. We loved this place overall. Staff were very friendly, everything about the hotel was top notch...except the comfort of the bed for me. That was the only slight negative. We would love to visit again though. Basically outstanding.

Beautiful views of San Gimignano from the outdoor bar and breakfast area. Our room was large, and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gave us great restaurant and wine tasting ideas.

Instalaciones hermosas, unicacion perfecta y personal muy amable

Property is highly recommended. We were very pleased as it provided a real country Tuscany feel about it. Very well appointed and 'historical'. Staying facing the garden in the summer had a drawback of mosquitos getting into the room. Hotel did not seem to relate this problem, not offer any solutions, so that was just a bit disappointing. Otherwise, this is highly recommended.
