Wonderful stay and the breakfast is very tasty.

Easy access to city centre, only a few minuet walk.

The hotel was both homely and chic, with a lovely breakfast.

Lovely place to stay with parking and easy access in to Norwich centre. We have used over the past few years when visiting our own at UEA.

Great location and pleasant surroundings

For a stay over to see family for dinner. Great parking and so close to city centre - about 10min easy walk. Friendly staff. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Basic but more than nice enough and I didn't pay big money to warrant any luxuries anyway! I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. I'd return.

Lovely hotel with excellent breakfast

Hotel was good and convenient for the city centre, the room (43) we were given was right by the Ipswich Road so was a little noisy. The room itself was excellent, the huge walk-in shower was a bonus. Considering the warm weather the quilt on the bed was a bit thick and we ended up taking it out of the cover. The only downside was that because we had booked through Hotels.com we were charged a £6 a night parking fee whereas if we had gone direct this would have been waived, a bit greedy considering the problems that hospitality is going through. Guess next year we will book direct!

Very clean good hotel with friendly.staff

Lovely old buildings set out around small pretty garden areas with good parking. The check in was easy and completed by a friendly member of staff. The room itself was dated but very clean with a separate toilet and shower, tea and coffee, fan, and a smart tv. Lovely crisp white sheets which is always appreciated. Breakfast in the conservatory was lovely. All freshly cooked and good quality ingredients. Coffee was available via a help yourself digital machine. We charged our EV overnight at 45p per KWH which cost us £19.80 which thought was quite reasonable for ease of charging our car ready for the next days travels. Would happily stop here again!

Lovely proper hotel with real people to talk to. Two single rooms booked for friends. Great location for city centre, easy walk to theatres, etc., comfortable beds and good accommodation.

Convenient location for the city centre. Extremely clean hotel, welcoming and friendly staff, excellent cooked breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room, with doors open to the spring garden. The building is old, the stairs to the room were a bit awkward, nevertheless, overall an excellent experience.

Location is fine. Rooms are dated as is Hotel. But maybe typical British.

Perfectly clean, staff polite. However, the property is quite tired and run down. Light leaking around the edges of the curtains. I had a very odd layout of the room with the shower in the entrance way of the room. The sheets and pillows were clean but clearly old.

We were upgraded to a larger room upon our arival. A beautiful space to relax in and a short walk away from the city center. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was like a home away from home... just nicer.
