A terrific hotel, really nice atmosphere, beautiful buildings. The only downside was that the breakfast could have been a bit better. It was ok but if you made coffee and cooked eggs or an omelette to order on top it would have been perfection. Would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a week at Le Ferme del la Rançonnière and it was superb. Cosy, warm room with beautiful items of furniture and gorgeous decor. The only small things we would advise when booking is… make sure you ask for big windows if you want them. Some of the rooms are quirky and ours had a small ‘porthole’ window and a lower down window in the lounge area and one thing tall window in the bedroom. We didn’t mind too much but it does mean the room is quite dark. Other than that we would have liked more towels when they changed them as there were three of us and as I suggest to all hotels - more creamer or milk. I love a cup of coffee in the room after a long day chasing museums etc and I always have to make sure I bring/ buy my own. I would also recommend bringing all your own toiletries. All in one hair/ body wash is not for me I am afraid. BUT these are so minor I would not mark them down for this. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the hotel is located in a pretty good position for exploring D Day sites, memorials and cemeteries as well as bayeaux, Caen and Arromanches. We drove and had no parking issues. Parking is at the back of the hotel but easy to access from wherever your room is. The food in the restaurant was sublime! Best risotto I have ever had and the desserts were heavenly. We definitely will return and look forward to our next stay!

We traveled in the area and used La Ferme for our base and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we felt like a part of the "family," the receptionist Franck ensured a seamless check in process, told us all the details and even escorted us to our room, we felt so welcomed here by ALL the staff. The room was spacious and it felt like a trip back through time yet equipped with modern conveniences. The daily breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options for various eaters. There was a memorial directly across the street and showed La Ferme and its use in the war, which made a nice connection too. I would definitely return here and stay, it was simply unbelievable!!

This farm was absolutely stunning!! Our room was beautiful—felt like I was in a turret!! Also lovely to have a restaurant and bar on site.

Romantic rooms for a special stay.

Excellent hotel, feels like being in part of the French history yet luxurious and classic. Attention to detail was wonderful. If I had one small niggle it would be that we wished they would of provided a greater choice on the room service menu

Very clean and a great place to stay!

Very Beautiful and very friendly staff. Must have a rental car! No Uber. Ceilings and doors too low if 5’11! Very hard to get into bed or walk out of room. Too many spiders!! Dinner was just so so and very limited. Had to hitch hike back from Courseulles-sur-mer. Taxis to Utah was over 150 Euros one way.

A beautifully restored countryside farm house complex was the perfect place.

The most beautiful property and perfect situation for visiting all the DDay beaches and memorials .

No real criticism other than, in the refurb they could have added some form of aircon. There were no mozzie nets on the windows and it was roasting with them closed. I got bitten to hell. If you're susceptible to bites, then be aware.

very clean high standard food excellant bit expensive but had a lovely stay very relaxing lovely grounds out of the way from anything else tho man at resturant bit grumpy on first night but improved after the next night seemed better with french people not english

Property is not air-conditioned. Despite making three personal requests, including going to the front desk and asking for a fan, we did Receive a fan which made for a terrible night of sleep, unfortunately. major letdown for us was the terrible Wi-Fi speed and service interruptions constantly Unfortunately, we needed the Wi-Fi that evening, but could not use it at all. The real challenge with Expedia Reservations like this one is their app which they claim allows you to message the property however the message feature has not worked on this end of the properties we have booked during the day. They also provide the prop a bizarre and unattended Expedia email and not the guests personal email, which was a huge and vacation ruining experience Ing this day for us. We could not communicate with the property and the property had some restrictions regarding check-in time which were not reflected on The Expedia mobile app used to make the reservation. We are starting to lose our faith slowly in the Expedia and Hotels.com brands as their customer service has practically vanished.

Historic property. Our room was a large suite. Conveniently located near D-day beaches and cities of Normandy.

The property was amazing and exactly as described. The rooms were spacious and it was a wonderful, beautiful, location. Coudn't have been more pleased with the staff and our experience. Will be returning. Thank you!

Wonderful farmhouse renovated with care and great taste, offering beautiful accommodation. Somewhere to remember! A perfect retreat among the Normandie countryside, no noise, no cars, just bird song. A delight! And yet so close to many of the D-Day sites. The restaurant offers a good choice of dishes, top quality food. You won’t be disappointed. Staff very attentive and eager to ensure you have a good experience.

Beautiful chateau in the Normandy countryside. Very updated. Excellent spot to stay for seeing the area.
