The Manager was extremely helpful and caring so were all the other staff, food was very good for pub food, great location for a stop over, Hotel itself just needs a bit of redecoration but the original building is amazing.

Great stay as always, Brendan and the staff always make you feel welcome, great food, great atmosphere.

Lovely large room. Very clean. Had dinner there as well and the service was excellent.

Nice one-night stopover. Great location to n town, comfortable room and very good pub meal in the evening.

I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening.

Everything about my stay was 100%

This was an amazing demonstration of the best customer service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and attentive....with a special mention for the absolutely wonderful Jo. Gorgeous character inn with comfortable bedroom and plenty of peace and quiet. Right in the middle of what I described as the prettiest town centre in the UK

Beautiful pub and very convenient for station and shops. Love Faversham.

Good hotel with plenty of character

The small rooms at the back of the property have toilet saniflows. The one in our room leaked and kept running at intervals through the night. This is noisy and needs to be fixed. I’m sure that hotel will do it because they are normally very good with everything. It needs a good plumber to look at it and understand what’s going on - it’s not the valve – it’s got another leak into the cistern that goes on filling it and triggering it.

2nd stay....always nice

Staff were excellent the room was clean and spacious but the staires were very steep to get to it and the stairway could do with decorating.

Lovely old pub with bags of character. Fab room with private garden.

We stayed in Room 14 and although the room was great, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the neighbouring rooms TV and conversation word for word. It was also unfortunate for us that the guests liked to stay up until the early hours of the morning. The parking was also an issue. If you want to stay longer than 1 night, it seemed like you had to find on street parking approx 10-15mins walk away. Other than this issue, the room itself was great, location perfect, and service was excellent.

Old medieval building but smart and modern rooms

Very comfortable en suite room. Charming hotel with a quite nice restaurant and pub. Amazing large free breakfast. Staff were all delightful. So nice that we have already booked a return visit.

Very popular with the locals, an olde world setting. Bedroom was adequate. TV could have been a little larger. Shower thermostat was faulty.

Lovely stay. Very impressed with room size. Really lovely pub.
