Newly renovated hotel with great location, lots restaurants and coffee shops near by and the Cathedral only 8 minutes walk away. You can even see the night light of Alhambra through room windows. Staff are friendly and room is clean. Only weakness is there is no kettle in the room, in winter it is a bit pity.

Charming hotel in a great location. Loved the decor in this beautifully restored building. Spacious room and bathroom. Three balconies! Staff very friendly and helpful - lovely place to stay.

Friendly staff, clean and location good but the ground floor room was very dark and gloomy. No drink facilities in the room although there is access to a kettle in the late afternoon/evening. Most hotels these days have facilities for coffee in the room.

The Gar Anat is a wonderful hotel. Staff are personable and considerate - the front desk manager even came looking for me in the carpark as he thought I might be in trouble. (The carpark is very tight and tricky to maneuver.) The location is perfect as you are right by the cathedral and the bus to the Alhambra. The afternoon coffee/tea is a nice touch. And the rooms are kept clean and comfortable.

The staff was outstanding especially Juliet. Patient, friendly and helpful. The location could not have been better with easy walking access to an unlimited number of bars restaurants and the Alhambra. Our favorite cocktail bar was just steps away. The only minor issue was that our room was a bit warm and we are unable to put on A/C in the winter

A little coffee machine in the bedroom would be a great asset. Many hotels now provide them. Great breakfasts; friendly helpful staff. A relaxing place to stay; quiet; a nice partial view of the Alhambra from my attic room - worth the stair climb!
