Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was beautifully appointed and very quiet. The location was really good, we were able to walk or easily catch public transport. Very close to Central Station and an easy train ride from the airport

Near old town

My room was serviced exactly how I preferred everyday, the corner room gave me privacy I needed as a solo traveler which also made me feel safe (along with key card entry after dark night hours.) The cozy holiday decorations made for a joyous vibe and the complimentary cookies/ mulled wine was a happy bonus :)

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us.

Nice place close to the station and easy for the centre of town and other transport. Ubahn and trams. Good breakfast.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was not included for us, but looked good. Location was fine to get to the sites - Marienplatz. I would recommend this hotel

Staff were absolutely amazing as was the property.

Very nice property, would return. However there is construction site next door, but all was quiet when we were there (Tuesday night)

Location was convenient to train station and attractions. Hotel was updated and clean; room was spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed amenities in room such as espresso maker and mini fridge stocked with drinks.

The lift was broken which made getting luggage to 4th floor fun.

The Alpen is very conveniently located near the main train station and the old part of Munich. Very helpful staff and clean. Although there wasn't any tea making facilities in the room. You need to book a Superior room to get those, which we only found out on arrival.

The staff in the room were great however, the room was very and there was no way to turn on the air conditioning in the room

A really good find in Munich. Just a couple of minutes walk from the station and an easy walk to the old town. Good rooms, good breakfast and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, arranging an easy late check-in after travel problems. We will stay here again

Very clean hotel, looks like it was renovated in the last few years. Close to the train station and the old town. We had lots of bags so it worked for us. Old town is great, parts of area around the train station not so great.
