Good hotel

near the highway, convenientto road triper

The room condition should have been maintained better. Fortunately staff were being nice to me. We stayed there for two night. The room was not tidied up automately the following day. Staff replied that you needed to request for it. Strange to me, it did not happen when I travelled to other place else.

The air con is poor. Very old facilities and no tidy. Small bugs in the room.

Convenient to have food court and shopping mall. Very nice breakfast.

Room was in a dreadful state, if I hadn’t arrived late and had an early morning meeting I would have found somewhere else to stay. Atrocious.

Great place to stay if you are travelling with kids. The family rooms were good. We arrived really late in the evening after 11am and were able to food and drink easily from the service station right next door. We also needed an iron and ironing board and the hotel staff were able to get one sorted for us quickly. We stayed one night on route to our final destination.

Worst experience ever. Don’t be fooled by the Ramada name,it’s at best a one star hotel. No air conditioning at all, it was 30 degrees in June and they provided a single desk fan for five of us. We asked for an additional fan and they refused our request. After asking again in 24 hours time they gave us one more fan. There is no sink in the toilet area so have to take dirty hands into bedroom for washing. We asked for the sheets to be changed, they just did the bed sheets and we were forced to sleep on the dirty sheets. There was lots of dust on surfaces. I took pictures but there is no facility to share them on this review. The hotel room was designed in the 1970s. It seems to still have the original carpet and it was filthy with clearly visible stains and very dirty. The whole hotel room has not been changed since it was built, no model features at all other than a small kettle which takes 5 whole minutes to boil. I really can’t think of anything positive on our stay. We were sweating in the night as no air con and only a desk fan, we didn’t sleep much for both our nights stay, got up dripping in sweat. How a so called modern hotel has no air conditioning is unbelievable. Avoid at all costs. The window was locked so could not open it at all. One of the beds was just a mattress placed on the floor so quite difficult to sleep like that.

Grotty room, half fixed, broken tv remote, very loud not at all sound proof, can hear everyone walking past. Plugs in unhelpful places, lime scale in the kettle, dirty mugs.

Dirty, old, noisy, over priced and poor quality restaurant food, staff so disinterested and couldn’t care less about the customer. A truck stop hotel.

Lovely room, excellent breakfast, the rooms could do with an update but otherwise lovely hotel

Room clean and set up as asked, room had a couple of issues (identified to staff who were helpful) location excellent for access to A14, surrounding location noisy and smelly as next to service area. Room warm so needed windows open which wasn’t that pleasant. Breakfast was busy but found a table, food ok, not as good as other brands, many items out when we had breakfast but staff working hard to restock but no fresh fruits, no pastries and juice me mostly empty. Overall ok place for the cost and location.

Could not stay here as it was not safe. The doors barely latch and a woman was screaming constantly.

Middle motorway service station so busy and bit noisy. Positive lots food next door

Room was dusty, soap dispenser was empty. Quite warm in summer, bed was comfortable and good access. Close enough to Cambridge.

Check in was smooth - when entering our room, we noticed there had only been 2 towels left out for a room of 4. The shower was out dated and patches of black mould in places. There was dust round the edges of the room and the sink had water in it from the previous clean or guest? There was one pillow for each guest, when most people sleep with two. The worst part was the air conditioning… we woke up around 5 to a dripping noise - the air conditioning was leaking, the floor was sodden. When we mentioned it to the front desk - they said “yes we have that a lot as it is old” Oh and yes it has a “gym” but don’t get too excited…there are 3 machines in a tiny room - no weights either. Other than all of that, it was okay. Breakfast was good, just a shame about the room.

A cheap and cheerful overnight halt. Clean rooms, nice and quiet too if you're out the back of the hotel. Room remained cool during the Whitsun weekend heat. Have stayed here twice before, so it's a known quantity for us. The only issue this stay, and we didn't notice until the morning, was there was only one bath towel provided in the room - so, check on arrival and ask reception if needed.
